Just in case this is handy for anyone. +Intel has a non-commercial version of their stuff available:

I'm building Boost with Composer XE 2013 for Linux on a virtual CentOS6.3 installation. A few key flags that need to be set are as follows:

Make sure you are in the Intel build environment

    source /opt/intel/bin/ intel64

From the source directory, bootstrapping the compilation can be accomplished as:

    ./ --exec-prefix=/usr --with-toolset=intel-linux

Then be sure to edit the config file:

It needs to contain (I don't know if this is correct. Easier to just disable MPI)

    using mpi : : <find-shared-library>mpi_mt <find-shared-library>mpigf ;

Then compile everything with:

    ./b2 -j5 -a

I don't remember if I've posted this before, but this is one of the greatest Science/Engineering videos that you can find on the internet. It covers the properties of waves as they hit discontinuities.

The properties of waves are fundamental to many many areas of physics, and this provides a fantastic overview/introduction to their behavior.

Screw facebook. If you can integrate google-doc updates into G+ then this thing is a SharePoint/Exchange killer for small businesses.
