We've also addressed some wet corners, wet halves, or entire push-up greens using XGD type drainage (18" deep, 2" perf pipe, backfill with 6-2-2 mix, 6 ft centers) in house and I'd say the cost is about the same if labor is already budgeted for whatever winter projects. Big difference is how fast it moves water though. Lots of hand watering first season on trench lines, slightly less years 2 & 3 but turned wettest greens into behaving more like USGA greens as far as mowing, etc after rain.
