Got a breakfast plate, really tasty and high quality food. A bit on the pricier side, but the great service and nice atmosphere make it a reasonable outing.

I love 24 Diner's philosophy and attempts to source local-- the menu takes simple diner items and incorporates inventive and local flavors to achieve food perfection. The decor is also like a diner but brought into the 21st century. As for the food, I dunno how they did it but I swear the squash & zucchini veggie of the day I had a few days ago was TO. DIE. FOR. best summer vegetables I've ever had. My grilled cheese was also fantastic, from the sourdough to the 2 types of cheese to the marinated tomatoes on the inside. GET A MILKSHAKE also. Because those are so thick and creamy you won't regret it (if milkshakes are your kind of thing). The service was also really good, and we even had a manager (?) come up to us during our meal to make sure everything was just like we wanted. They obviously care about the community and their customers (and their customers' tastebuds)!

The food is amazing. Can't wait to go back. My wife had the French toast and could not stop raving about the flavor. She also loved the bacon. I had the sweet potato hash which I loved. I got the large portion. The regular portion would have been plenty, but it did not stop me from eating it all

Um, only the best veggie burger I've ever had in my travels. If you've had better, please email me where and I will check it out for myself!

My boyfriend and I went one night and were so excited about the idea of having locally grown food & thought it was awesome to support the local community. I very much regret it. I had ordered the cheddar burger with fries. The fries seemed undercooked. What really upset me was my burger. It tasted like how burned black-cat fireworks smell. I hated it. The wait staff were very slow too. For the price of the food and everything, it is NOT worth it.

The food is amazing but my husband and I were more impressed with the customer service that the General manager provided. He was very attentive w all of the clients and the staff is very kind and friendly. We will be going back next time we are in town.

While they are famed for their hash and chicken & waffles, I would argue that they should be known for the amazing shakes they make. Without a doubt in my mind, the best shakes you can get in Austin are found here. I've tried them all, but the two that I'm constantly struggling to decide on every visit are their peanut butter chocolate and roasted banana & brown sugar. The system I have devised to help with my decision now depends on how full I already am and just how hot that day is. I've found that their PB & chocolate shake will certainly make you feel more full after consuming it while the roasted banana shake feels lighter in comparison. Try them out and just try telling me that they are not the two best milkshakes you've ever had! If you come back and say: "nah it's alright", I'll know that you're not a fan of thick creamy milkshakes.

The biscut with honey butter and chicken yum. My favorite until I tried the waffles. My only issue is when I go now I'm torn
