Taco Seasoning
Forget about buying pre-made taco mix, with who knows what in it.  Instead, use this blend of spices everyone should already have their spice cabinet.  If you don't, we have a big problem...you need to expand your taste palette ASAP.  When you mix it all up...

What's in My Garden? Bella Anna Hydrangea

Honey Ham Slice
This is hands down the easiest, yet tastiest weekday dinner you will ever make.  The ham takes at most 10 minutes to make.  My mom would always make this and serve it with mac and cheese.  I find this to be the best side for it because the sauce for the ham...

I LOVE their lunch special. You get 2 full size rolls from the lunch menu and a half roll of cali or spicy tuna for only $10! Best deal in town. I think they do the same thing for dinner happy hour, but I never eat that early. My only complaint is sometime the service can be slow even when they are not busy. Last time it took over 30 mins to get 2 lunch orders made and they forgot a roll, but that's the only time it has happened. Everything is yummy! It breaks my heart to see so many negative reviews since I haven't experienced what they are talking about, but that doesn't mean it isn't true. If the owner really is that rude and take server tips then that is a shame.

The food tends to be so-so for me (not impressed with their beef and broccoli or kung pao chicken), thought the egg rolls and lo mein have been awesome. My only real complaint is they have messed up my order and numerous occasions and I find it weird they serve rice with lo mein combo dishes.

This is one of my favorite places to get sushi. You can beat their combination of quality and price. The Sunday Role is to die for. Only bad thing is they don't stay open very late and sometimes close for no reason during the winter (no bad weather or anything)

I get lunch here all the time since it is right by work. The Mongolian Beef in my favorite so far. They have good lunch specials for under $6. Google them and you will find their online menu on their website. I thought ordering online would be cool, but they charge and online fee. They do deliver but requires like a $15 minimum. And I always get a guy that answers when I order lunch and he is always very nice. While this is not my favorite Chinese take out place over all, it is still really good. That award goes to Wok n Roll Express on Metcalf and 83rd.

I like how they include a drink with your price and the beef and broccoli is great. Other than that it is a typical Chinese buffet. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about. It's close to me so that's an extra bonus.

I got my last set of tires her and the guy who runs the front desk is incredible nice. I had no clue what tires to get and didnt try to up sale me or give more than I needed. Since my car is old and we are planning to sell it he even told me just to get the cheapest ones. When I came in to get them rotated they started right away since they weren't too busy and I had my car back in less than 10 minutes and it only cost me $15. They even cap off your nitrogen in the tires at no extra charge like some places.

It may not look like much once you walk in, but this place has great Greek food at an amazing price. I'll take this over spending $16 for the cheapest thing at Tasso's. You order it fast food style at the counter. When I ate there I stayed, but saw a lot of people took theirs to go. The pita bread is to die for. The lady who works there talks to everyone like you are her best friend. The only bad part is they close at 8pm and sadly the Baklava is not homemade, but still good. And make sure to wear a blue shirt if you go on Monday and you will get a free dessert.
