We had a wonderful dinner at Eva's. I have heard so much about it. I asked for a sample platter and particularly enjoyed the stuffed cabbage and kielbasa. Was amazed at how tender the cabbage leaf was. The service was as friendly as describe by others. $22 cost of meal included 3 glasses of wine. Friend ordered a lemon chicken sandwich and chocolate mousse. Eva's had a delicious liebfraumich that deserved more than one glass - would guess it was Blue Nun which I can't resist. I will recommend it to all my friends. My friend and I thought it was incredibly charming. I don't order desserts but enjoy watching others dig in.

This was the culinary highlight of our trip to Syracuse. I can't add much that has already been said, other than the ruskie pierogies are as close to my grandmother's as I've ever had. The food and the atmosphere felt so familiar...I can't wait to eat there again!

Eva's has been my favorite restaurant in since the first time I went there many years ago. The food is incredible! The atmosphere is cozy. The restaurant is ultra clean. Restroom included. I don't think I've ever been in a cleaner bathroom. The people working at Eva's are very gracious, friendly and always smiling. There is no rushing. Just pure enjoyment. My maternal side of the family is 100% Polish. Being at Eva's is like stepping back in time and being at my Grandmother's house with all her Polish food and goodies. Pure home made food, delicious, healthy, cozy and with the feeling of love.

this is by far the best restaurant in the syracuse area. the only low point might be their pierogie (which are still fantastik). the (polish and eastern european) beer selection is outstanding. there are a lot of big bottle offerings, which are great to share with friends. the potato pancakes with saurkraut and bacon are my favourite menu item, but the meat pierogie and polish gnocchi are also amazing, and out of the typical polish wheelhouse

Kielbasa dinner was yummy! Looking forward to trying other meals on subsequent visits. You won't be unhappy having a meal here! The cakes are to die for

The food was good, simple, and enjoyable. It was honest Polish cooking. The desserts were tasty. My chocoholic 11 yr old boy asked that we try to get back to Eva's soon. The wait staff more importantly was attentive and friendly. They actually enjoyed coming to the table and interacting with the patrons. This is indeed a rare thing to find in the area of Syracuse, NY. The customers in the restaurant smiled. They smiled a lot. Between chatting with the staff and with their table mates they actually would make eye contact with patrons at other tables and acknowledge their presence with nods; or should I dare say it?; with smiles. It made this Texan forget his homesickness for awhile. I'd recommend Eva's. After one visit they impressed me enough to make plans for many return trips.
