Interesting article and lots to take away - not least the ability to motivate an organisation into change.

I also agree with the very first point made - Android today (5.1) is a better looking and more intuitive OS that Apple iOS. From the animations when you tap the screen through to the logical layout. I honestly think that Google creates better User Experiences now.

Absolutely agree, but won't be as we see it now - the Apple Watch will be a footnote only - wearables will be retitled invisibles. :-)

Useful? Or a step backwards into old-style bookmarks (albeit pretty ones)

Yes, I am aware that the last few months on this blog have been a series of guest posts – breaking just about every rule of blog writing (1 promotional to every 5 useful, etcetera, etcetera). However, I like to think that if I write an article it will be useful to someone...

"It saddens me how social has been co-opted by marketing to become just another mass advertising/marketing channel" - Scott Monty

Unfortunately that's pretty much the same road that been trodden by every other communication channel - from print, to radio, to TV, and on to the internet. We shouldn't be surprised. The only question was when.

An interesting piece on the quality and distribution of 'news'. The result - we like to read low quality news-bait articles instead of studied pieces on serious subjects. Am I surprised? No. Disappointed? Yes.

Dangerous ground - a horribly grey area, but one that could lead to unfortunate precedents being set.
