Mikado is our favorite local restaurant! The rolls are great and they have an amazing Seared Ahi Salad. Our kids LOVE going to Mikado's. Whenever we are there, we get the best service we could ever want. The manager, Sam and his team do such an amazing job at making sure you are well taken care of and that you are more than satisfied with your experience so that you will keep coming back and we do keep going back! If you want great food at a great price and the most amazing service in Sandy, this is the place to go!

My fist time here and second place ever that i've seen non-asians rolling the fish. These guys do a great job and the quality and freshness is off the charts...

We waited for 30 min for our food and finally walked out. If you cant make a salad in 30 min you should just shut the doors. If you want to waste your time waiting for food that will never come this is the place to go.

I got their Udon - Vegetable Tempura, and it was AMAZING! I look forward to going back again. In addition to delicious food, the service was also great, the hostess was very friendly and incredibly helpful. I don't usually take note of the service when I go out to eat, but she was so warm and friendly that it made a big impression on me and my friend that I was with. Even before taking my first bite of food I was impressed!

Excellent sushi. Great service. We didn't realize it until after they took our order, that they weren't even open yet because they were so inviting and didn't have a problem with us coming in early. The sushi rolls were so artful we almost felt bad to disturb them, until we tasted them. Delicious. Highly recommended among many a sushi joints that we have tried. Not the very best we've had, but Mikado's definitely makes our list of great sushi places. And oh yes I was an out of towner too. Ball caps in the kitchen are to keep the hair on their head and not in your food. I personally appreciate a waiter/ waitress letting me know when they are having specials. Some people are just up tight snobs that need to come down off their high horses. I don't see how anybody could have anything negative to say about this place.

Staff very attentive. The salad dressing was AMAZING. Had the surf and turf Benito box. Beef was overcooked and the shrimp was farm raised and frozen. Pot stickers where fine. And tempura vegetables where fine also. .I would visit again to try the sushi.

The booths are nice and private but the sushi is nothing to write home about. We got the spider, green eggs not ham, and on death roll. We had been warned about how spicy the 'on death roll' was, but upon eating it we found it to be rather bland. I know Utah restaurants have a habit of nerfing the spiciness of their food, but this roll did not even tingle. If you are at the mall and get a hankering for some sushi it is convenient, but there is definitely better sushi within a 5 mile radius.
