Andy and I have been a bit surprised that no common free and open source managed file transfer software has emerged yet, so we're taking a platform we've used to build out some high-volume, high-security archival and workflow systems for some of File Transfer Consulting's customers and turning it into a free, open source MFT platform.   It's still early, but we hope the world will like it.

Managed File Transfer training and certification is finally available!  This week we're launching the CFTP (Certified File Transfer Professional) program in conjunction with several leading MFT vendors.  The CFTP examination and curriculum have been evaluated by several dozen "early adopters," a revamped study guide with full color diagrams has been posted, and complete video training will be coming online in the next few days.

Our first Wisconsin house (1998-2002) is back on the market.  The new owner updated the carpet, restored the back yard, replaced the wood stove and refurbished the bathroom.  However, the exterior, garage and historic interiors have remained the same.

With the expansion of its physical security section, the CompTIA Security+ certification is looking more like the CISSP every day.  With the addition of mobile security...has it passed it?
