So, over the past week or so I've been giving the +LG Electronics Canada "Friends" for the G5 a go and posted my thoughts:

There's:

- LG 360 Cam: http://goo.gl/xzkcVd
- LG 360 VR: http://goo.gl/jreBU4
- LG Cam Plus: http://goo.gl/xyvzd5

The G5 review will be around shortly.
So a while back I was given the opportunity to play with a bunch of the LG friends to go along with the G5. I've been very curious ever since I saw them, and it has been fun to play with them. My full G5 review is forthcoming, I'm ensuring it gets its full opportunity as my daily.

Playing with the 360VR was very cool. A little frustrating at times, but when you get it to work in the right way (and I'm sure more content is coming) it's pretty thrilling.
I've been getting the chance to play with LG's recent series of toys that pair well with the LG G5, they call them their "LG Friends". Recently, I showed off the Cam Plus accessory and it was neat, but there's a few more to go. Today's accessory is the LG 360 VR headset.

Happy streaming day!

It's streaming day today... what are you going to be streaming?
May 20th - apparently it's Streaming Day (in honour of the first Roku) and in honour Roku is releasing their survey which shows that we're stream hungry these days. The highlights of the release (see below for their bulletin) is that these days we're so into streaming that we're starting to let ...

+Ryan Moore Yeah iOS you have to go to system settings to change any settings within an app. I kind of like it in a way. I mean you go to one section and right from there you can adjust all your app settings, instead of going into each and every individual app and then adjusting the settings.

Which is good for initial setup and if you don't plan on changing app settings very often. If app settings are something that you change more frequently (camera recording in 1080P or 4K) as an example. Then having the setting within app (The Android way) makes it easier to do that.

It's just different then what you are typically used to. Both ways work, it's just the process of making it work is different.

Why not take your own VR videos and photos with this? (you'll just need to have the G5 as well).
LG really tried to go in a new direction this past year by making a series of 'modules' and accessories for the LG G5, called their "LG Friends". It's very cool and really throws up the shade of things to come with devices like Project Ara. Today, I'm going to show off the 360 Cam, which, ...

Well, when you can buy four for the price of one ... LOL I really like the idea of the Chromebook, but there are still a few issues that hold me back. Desktop software being the big one. Photoshop/Illustrator/Lightroom most specifically. Same ones that keep me from considering going back to my glory days of Linux. I suppose I could always do a Windows VM for that, but it's a huge performance hit for the programs that really need all the performance you can give them.

I think the Android app availability is going to be a big plus for them though ... and brings them one step closer to a full solution for a whole lot of people.
