Sounds like something I'd do.
Adam Corolla or Norm McDonald versions are both welcome.

You're not a bad ass biker until you only need one wheel!

I once thought Earl Grey Tea was just so people could act snobbish. I bought some for my Keurig coffee maker. Now I drink more tea than coffee. This shit is like crack. No wonder the Brits would pause in the middle of anything to have tea time.

I am not a big promoter of things I don't think will work for everyone. (or at least most people)
I have been doing P90X for about 20 days. I have lost 15lbs and an inch and a half off my waist. I can see the six pack showing and the tone in my muscles coming back. Most importantly, I feel the strength in my core that makes me make the day with confidence and energy.
Why am I sharing this? Because I know there are a lot of gimmicks out there and it is hard to tell what will work. so consider this my public service announcement. Now back to our regularly scheduled Religion Bashing.

Belief is not a bad thing until you base your life on it. I've found that reality, not matter how brutal, is beautiful and fulfilling. Granted, with more data, I might change my mind. That's the beauty. I change my mind based on data. Not bribes or fear.

For my non America friends I understand that not everyone as a Target. I wish now to use the power of social media to express disgust with Target and their complete lack of customer service when it comes to big ticket items. This is not about a local store but their policies and procedures at a corporate level. When attempting to have them make a simple exception on my $120 Keurig coffee maker, that was defective and I had lost the receipt, They stated their barrage of NO. At every level the answer was NO we can not take care of this for you. I spoke with every manager at sore level and then several "supervisors" at "guest relations". They said there was absolutely no one who could help me. It was a Sunday and like most Americans I wanted my coffee maker replaced NOW not in two to three business days or weeks. So I went to Walmart. I thought about lying and telling them I bought it there. Instead, When I got to the counter I said that I had bought it at Target, they refuse to take care of their customers, would you please allow me to exchange this here? They said no problem sir, scanned my drivers licence and processed a refund. I went and bought a new Keurig and spent $250 more. When I called "guest relations" back at Target to tell them how their competitor took care of their customer the guy actually said " well anyway sir..." I did not hear anything he said after that. I asked if he understood that his job was to save my business? If he did he SUCKED at it. I made him take down my contact information and told him to have someone contact me. No offense intended to others out their but Target outsources their "guest relations" the communication and cultural gap is too large for there to be empathy and understanding to provide good customer service. A script just does not cut it!

I will be posting on every social media site I have access to. I may even make a YouTube video. It is not about the coffee pot. It's about the complete lack of care by a company about my business. my dollars may not matter to them, but I hope I turn enough people away from them that it hurts on some level. Hell they wont even know it was me. But Ill still feel better. FIN

I went to Target to buy a wedding present for friends who had registered there. Because that was in 1999, I don't remember the details exactly, but I remember that the experience with customer (lack of) service was so bad that I have never gone back. The bad feelings engendered by such experiences tremendously outlive even the memory of the events which caused them.

I love this because it speaks to the core of America's problem. We're too fucking selfish. I include myself in this category. We want to give, until we see the price tag. There are few exceptions. We will not be a stronger nation/world until the exceptions are the rule.

+Katharine Klevinskas I find that most waiting rooms' televisions are set to the request of the last person with the temerity to ask the proprieter to change the station, and if you ask to have the station changed to MSNBC, which on most cable/sattelite providers is only 1 - 3 channels from FOX and CNN, they're quite willing to keep the customer happy. Several days or weeks may then elapse before a brainwashed bigot demands that FOX be returned, and in that time, other customers have been enlightened.

I have to disagree with you, however, about the Oxford comma, but I am a mathematician used to emphasizing the use of parentheses and brackets.

so... Moses brings down the commandments in Exodus 15-18, you know the ones that say "thou shalt not Kill", and in Exodus 27-29 this happens..."And he said to them, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.'" So the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about three thousand men of the people fell that day. Then Moses said, "Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, that He may bestow on you a blessing this day, for every man has opposed his son and his brother." HUMMMMMMM less than 10 verses after tablets with Gods written commandment not to Kill and there is an order by God to kill? YIP! the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow alright.

or how about 1 Samuel 15:3 "Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass"

That was the verse that was the beginning of the end for me. Read it again... Infant and suckling!

We love stories.  Some stories are more true than others,  I think the David and Goliath story applies to the Arab-Israel conflict.  7 million Jews surviving against 1.2 billion enraged Muslims.  Quite impressive.
