My reading of the panic: "Please stop showing everyone how horribly unsuited you are for this job, or else you won't get this job and we lose this game."

I mean all this talk about what he needs to do to win, and maybe instead this should be getting through to them that he just shouldn't be President.

It's almost like G+ is trying to aggravate me with all these recommended posts by crazy Trump supporters...

Are you curious, concerned, or interested in self-driving cars? Take my survey on self-driving cars: https://sjsu.qualtrics.com//SE/?SID=SV_2rwVzUtamTmWAex. It's anonymous and will only take 5-10 minutes to complete.

For my graduate thesis, I am seeking to better understand the ways in which self-driving cars could change the urban landscape. Your input is important.

Thank you in advance for your participation! If you have any questions, email me at melissa.ruhl@sjsu.edu.

This was frustrating to listen to. I was a little floored when he said:

"There will be things in this report that will be disturbing graphically, but I suspect if you had a similarly graphic description of what happens when innocents are killed in a drone strike, you would be equally disturbed by what you read. [...] So, yes, you can find, in any wartime situation, some examples that are unpleasant to read about."

Or maybe more succinctly: "Well, shit happens."

Received my first Soylent shipment. So far I'd say it is pretty good.

Very nicely presented!
Really slick presentation by Mike Bostock using animated illustrations to explain the operation of algorithms. Via +Vik Sohal and +Robert Bridson whose Poisson-disc sampling algorithm is one of the examples.

An interesting perspective on the difficulty (and importance) of listening to stories of traumatic events as it relates to men listening to women sharing their lived experience.

My own semi-coherent thoughts: The thing about #NotAllMen is that it is trivially true. Emphasis on the trivial. The unfortunate truth is that it is enough men, enough of the time...

If you really feel the need to say #NotAllMen, then it seems to me that rather than spending your energy saying it to the women sharing their experiences you should be saying it to call out other men when they paint all of us in a bad light. It should be those men you are upset with after all.

So somehow I missed this. I think I might have been happier had I never seen it...

With 1 in 4 Americans getting this wrong, is it any wonder that we have such a difficult time with more complicated topics (like climate change)?
