I just released the source for my H89 Emulator in C++ - https://github.com/mgarlanger/VirtualH89

You'll probably either need Eclipse or will need to create your own makefile, I included the eclipse project file, and that should auto-generate make files for the release and debug configurations.

More info on my site: http://heathkit.garlanger.com/emulator/

Let me know if any of you run into any issue.

Heathkit H89 Emulator written in javascript - requires a relatively modern browser.   Currently, runs both HDOS and CP/M, although only CP/M disk images are currently configured for it.

I still have a lot more work planned for it, but let me know if you have comments or suggestions.

A new version of the javascript H89 emulator is available. It now supports writing to the disk, but I changed the configured disk images to CP/M, instead of HDOS. On my todo list, is to make the disk images selectable by the user. Hopefully, that will be completed in the next release.  http://heathkit.garlanger.com/emulator/jsH89/

Heathkit H89 Emulator in javascript...
http://heathkit.garlanger.com/emulator/jsH89/jsH89.html
still work in progress, but here is the announcement I made in the sebhc maillist:
-----------------------
One of the projects, I've been working on, is writing an H89 emulator in javascript. I still have a bunch of work to do on it, but it's reached a point that I thought I'd announce it. You will need a current browser (firefox and chrome both work but not safari). Also, probably a fairly fast processor(I still need to work on optimizations).

http://heathkit.garlanger.com/emulator/jsH89/jsH89.html

Current status:
Terminal portion: accurate characters(including graphics), most of the Heath ESC codes, keyclicks, and the BEL character.

Computer portion: It runs the monitor and boots the Forth operating system (which I had recently imaged).  Both HDOS and CP/M fail to boot. HDOS gets to the date prompt, appears to accept the input, but then just looks like it crashes. On CP/M, I don't see any banner and it appears to crash.

About all I know about the Forth language, is that it is RPN, so to add 2 + 2, you would enter:
2 2 +
and to print out the result use the period:    .

Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any suggestions, also if anyone has any ideas on what HDOS does right after the date prompt, that may be causing a problem, let me know.

Once I get HDOS and CP/M booting, I'll be able to focus on performance optimizations.
