Wow! What a throwback to an old soda fountain and ice cream shop. The decor is spot on. Very nostalgic. Good ice cream. It's right off of the Haight.

I love the ambiance! The decor is from the soda-jerk era, and it's super cute. And they have a lot of ice cream choices. I got the brownie sundae with a honey ice cream and a mint ice cream. It was decadently delicious. I'm not a soda fan, so I probably won't order those when I return.. I'm going to stick to their ice creams. They have a few savory options if you want a one-stop shop. There's also a beer and wine list. And some of their fountain drinks have alcohol. If you want a delicious dessert with a cool vibe, definitely visit The Ice Cream Bar.

I don't know of another place where you can get an actual phospate. The ice cream here is delicious, but the back counter with the ice cream sodas is really where its at. The soda jerks are always super friendly, and they will make you something off menu if you want them to. Such a weird dying art that makes you feel like you've wandered into some alternate universe where soda jerking is still a thing, I think this is a reat stop to anyone visiting the city.

I got a really tall grilled cheese and the server was really nice. He told me about the city. The ice cream looked delicious but I didn't get any. I'd have to go again to see if it's truly a five star experience.

This is the real deal. Ice cream made from scratch. But then they also build all their sundaes and floats from the scratch ingredients too. Even the root beer they use is made there. They just don't do it like this any more. Half of the fun is watching them assemble your items piece by piece. You can taste the difference. There is also a food menu here, but we only had ice cream creations on our visit. The decor is also old school and very enjoyable. This a gem of a find. Definitely worth the stop if you are ever in the area.

This old fashion ice cream parlor has everything you need to satisfy your 1950s sweet tooth. Homemade ice cream, root beer floats, Guinness floats, and topping bar for your sundae. They even dress the part and treat their customers with that old fashion old ice cream place charm. If you’re in cole valley, I highly recommend stopping in for desert.

If you love sour beers and have a sweet tooth then keep reading. Fan of Duchesse De Bourgogne? Well, this beautiful soda fountain makes a delectable milkshake using Duchesse, cherry ice cream, and a few other key ingredients. I always walk away smiling after having one...well, sometimes two. A toast to beer milkshakes! May they multiply!

Some of the best ice cream in San Francisco! It has that old style feel and the owners are constantly chatting with all of the customers. They sub out flavors frequently and offer samples of anything you want to try. The ice cream is incredibly delicious and they offer unique flavors. Additionally, this spot has a bar to grab a drink while you eat your ice cream.
