My husband and I and our toddler just moved into these apartments. A 2 bedroom 2 bath for $700 couldn't be beat! There are a few things we don't like though. For instance, there are no light fixtures in the bedrooms...weird. The parking leaves something to be desired after a certain hour. Don't plan on going out and coming back to find a space open! The showers take a little getting used to. In the middle of a shower the boiler water kicks in and can burn you. We can sometimes hear people downstairs when they're speaking loudly in their apartment. Hell, we can hear the people next door when they're speaking normally! But overall those are small things. We're fine with the place.

Good for you! I was just stating the facts of what we found when we moved in. For any people looking into moving here.

My husband and I are definitely movie people, since we had our son two and a half years ago we don't get to go out that often. But when we do we go to watch a movie. Places like Alamo are a perfect solution to the dinner date thing, dinner while you watch! Time conserving and keeps away the hunger pangs. We've tried Studio movie grill and movie tavern. Alamo is by far the most desirable of the bunch. Extremely clean and pleasing esthetically. Smaller theaters, which I see no downside to. The theater was freezing to me, in the dead of summer, in Houston! I like it!!! Just bringing a sweater next time. We decided to share a mushroom and onion pizza since pricing was a little high, but well worth it. The pizza was delicious! My husband said it was the best pizza he's ever had in his life. We also shared an assortment of cookies for dessert. Also very good. My favorite cookie was the double chocolate. Mmmm chocolate. Only downside was my drink didn't get a refill the entire movie. :-/ It was our first time though, and my husband informs me I should have written down that I needed a refill and stuck it up in the table. All in all a great evening for about $30 for food and $19 for tickets. We will be going again.

My coworkers and I have a thing going where we try a different place for lunch every Wednesday. On one such occasion one of my coworkers saw a flyer for Sicily pizza and pasta and wanted to try it out for the salad bar they boasted. When we got there it was practically empty, and hot. Ceiling fans were running, but still hot! Then we looked at the buffet to see if anything looked good and it didn't. After feeling pressured to order I went with something relatively safe, a philly sub. All three of my coworkers and I placed our order at the same time. Their food arrived all together but mine was missing. The waitress/front desk girl/unsatisfied employee asked me if I ordered anything. I told her yes I had ordered a philly. She then asked the kitchen where it was. They. Hadn't. Even. Started. It! I mean really, they were practically deserted, and they misplaced my order? Then I had to keep asking her where it was as my coworkers ate their food. When it was FINALLY done, it was of course too hot to eat because it had just come out of the oven. The waitress/front desk girl/unsatisfied employee didn't offer anything except an I'm sorry. Not discount on my meal, no refund, no offer of a free anything to make up for my trouble. :| I will give them this though, the philly was good, if you get it that is.

I love this restaurant. I've been there twice during lunchtime. First time I got the chicken masala with vegetables and rice. Love the chicken masala! Love the rice!! The vegetables were a little spicy with curry for my tastes but that is because I don't like spicy. The naan was the best I've ever had hands down. They make it themselves fresh everyday!!! The second time I went I got the tandoori chicken with rice and chic peas. Again the veggie was a little too spicy for me. The tandoori chicken wasn't what I expected since it wasn't served with yogurt sauce on it. And be warned!!! The green sauce they do serve it with is extra hot. I got garlic naan that time and it came out fresh out of the clay pot. Soooo good!!! The owners have had this place since october '12 and they are always very friendly and attentive to us. Only negative I may have is that the lunch buffet does only have three types of meat everyday. But you can order from the menu if you want variety. I would and do highly recommend.

I went to this bank with an out of state account to withdraw some money. Both the tellers that I spoke with were very nice ladies. They helped me quickly with no problems. There was even a gentleman sitting at his desk who said have a great day as I left. I will defnitely use this branch again!

When we got to the place we had to drive around for 10 minutes to find a parking space. Being right next door to a family fun place is a major downside for parking. Once we got in we got our tickets. $8.75 per adult. Not that bad. Then you go in and sit at the bar/waiting area until your movie is seating, about half an hour before showtime. Everything on the menu is way over priced. My husband and I decided we'd share an appetizer, the artichoke and spinach dip with flatbread wedges for $6, and the kobe beef sliders for $11.50. During this time you get to take a look at the decor. It used to look nice a few years ago I'm sure. Now it's a little run down from not being propery cleaned. There was even a piece of gum in one doorway! So we get to our theater and take our seats. The long table was dirty. At least our server was very good and polite. Richard was a nice guy. The theater was a little too warm for our liking too.

Went to watch Hansel and Gretel in 3D. We didn't like their glasses and the light from the table bothered me quite a bit with the glasses. Sat at the long table which wasn't bad until someone sat right next to me...too close for comfort. Ordered the cheesy bread for app. Awesome! I had the philly sandwich which was good, pretty big, the meat wasn't exactly how I liked it. Very finely chopped like hash. My husband had the burger with bacon and sweet potato fries. He said the burger was awesome and the fries were good. Would definitely give them another chance.
