Great interview on Medscape between Dr. Andrew Wilner, MD, FACP, FAAN, Asst. Professor of Neurology at Mayo Clinic and Gastroenterologist Dr. Michael Weisberg based in Plano - regarding a growing trend in hospitals - 'the hospitalist' - these are doctors who just take care of patients in the hospitals. Dr. Weisberg invites us to speak up and ask 'What about the doctors that have taken care of us for 20 or 30 years? Shouldn't they still be the ones who are involved in the most important times of our life?'
