I recently went to Winston's Grille for dinner with a few of my friends. Our server, Leigh, was one of the best I have ever had. She was very attentive and made me feel as if we were old friends. She recommended a cocktail for me to try and it was wonderful! The food...words can't describe how good this meal was. If you like steak, I highly recommend that you get the Flame-Grilled Filet Mignon. It is worth every single cent. I have never had a better meal in my life. If you choose to go to Winston's Grille make sure you ask for Leigh. And if you like to have a drink with your meal, I recommend The Winston. Very nice drink. Thank you everyone at Winston's who made our dinner out so nice. We will be back and soon!

Filet mignon lacked flavor, poor ambience. Kids at nearby table coughing during entire dinner service. Will not return; definitely not worth it.

Winston's has been a locally owned restaurant for nearly 30 years, and it's clearly a part of the nearby North Ridge Country Club wannabe elite/socialite crowd. It's been voted a top location for a business lunch in Raleigh, along with other awards. Winston's vibe is an extension of a stereotypical country club -- replete with a pretentious ethos, overly servile and sappily positive staff. The good news is that you can tell the staff is just following a set of guidelines obviously dictated from management to keep up appearances. The food quality is above average, as it should be, considering the prices. The service quality can be, surprisingly, hit or miss...but, even the misses here are notches above most other restaurants in Raleigh.

Zero originality. This joint tries way too hard and ends up tasting like Applebee's. This is the new K&W Cafeteria.

The service was great, my food was not. I came in on a Sunday before work, my burger was fresh bun was fresh but the dang thing was under cooked. My fries were cold, I was offered a remake but by the time the manager came around I was pressed for time. This was my first experience at Winston's and all I wanted was a good burger and fries... I feel like going to Red Robin or Char grille for that matter could've been better and cost less. $15 burger was soooooo not worth the price. I don't feel like I'm missing out by driving past this place. Sorry!

We had the absolute best experience the other night! Our server Mart was absolutely perfect! It's hard for someone my age to go out and actually get good service because I am young and the people I go out with are also younger. She treated us like we mattered and that was a pleasant change! I believe my party of "young" people tipped her $50!
