Don't want to generalize or anything, but it seems like many Americans think that preferring a good dual-clutch automatic means that one can't drive a manual. That is totally not true, as in Europe 80% of cars are manual. In Finland where I'm from, you can't get your driver's licence if you can't drive stick. If, however, you choose to use an automatic car throughout driving school, you won't be allowed to drive manual cars with your licence at all.
