Eamonn Heffernan Celebrates 40 Year Anniversary at Sonifex

Eamonn Heffernan, a Sales Manager at Sonifex is celebrating 40 years of employment today.

As a young man in 1977, Eamonn was faced with the opportunity of pursuing a career with the RAF, or establishing a niche for himself with Sonifex. Sonifex was local to Eamonn and his interest in electronics and engineering led him to join Sonifex as an apprentice, initially learning all the skills needed to manufacture, repair and test the products.

In those days the company was manufacturing cart machines, and although well establish, it offered great opportunity to those wishing to gain hands on experience in all aspects of the company. Eamonn soon qualified as an Electronics Engineer then moved through the company, working in the test department, becoming the Quality Control Manager, heading up the IT department and finally moving to sales in 2003, where he has been to this day.

Marcus Brooke, Managing Director of Sonifex said: “Eamonn joined the company all those years ago with such great enthusiasm and even to this day, he has not lost that enthusiasm. Eamonn still has a boundless energy and a passion for his work, for life and for his family that is really commendable. Throughout his 40 years he has been, and still is, a great asset to the company and has contributed immensely to its growth and success. He’s also a fun guy to work with. We’d like to congratulate him and wish him every success and happiness as he continues his career.”
