Yum. Authentic peruvian tapa-style dishes that are great for sharing. The flavors are rich, and the menu, creative. The atmosphere is right on, warm, and beautiful. The sangria is delicious, and a pitcher is great for 2+. Two of us ordered three tapas and a side (and were't too starving when we arrived) but that was a great amount and we brought some home, too. Loved this place and the staff. The staff was super friendly and helpful, smiley, and happy. I had a great time here. It's awesome for dates of any kind!

Such a cozy, great local restaurant. They have amazing small plates to share. My favorites are their inca cola sauce ribs and their mac and cheese, believe it or not! Of course I also love their ceviche and plethora of other dishes. Great service and my mom, who tends to be a bit more cautious in her food choices than myself, loves it too!

I have mixed feeling about Piqueos after going there a few times. I found the food being somewhat disappointing, some of the dishes being sweeter than they need to be, through the sauce or the preparation. I never was disappointed food wise with Mochica. Good thing is that you get the same great chickpea amuse bouche you get at Mochica. My experience there as part as a bigger group has been quite nice and the tapas-size dishes format fits well. Well taken care of service wise but they get it covered by the included 20% tip.

Absolutely brilliant meal. The dishes we tried were all fantastic in their own right. I highly recommend the scallops, yucca balls and adobo. And the bacon mac'n cheese. YUM!

A hidden gem in Bernal Heights! One of the best tapas places I've ever been to. The small plates are inspired and the ambiance is quaint and has a neighborhood feel.

Empanadas, lomo saltado, aji de gallina are one of your best options to enjoy this complete hidden gem. Prices are reasonable and service is quite efficient. Highly recommended for a romantic occasion or just with friends. Oh... The suspiro or the chocolate lava cakes are to die for so please, make room for dessert.

Another restaurant I am proud to call a favorite neighborhood restaurant. We love to take guests to Piqueo's, it's really easy to share food there, and it's always good. Good Sangria, lots to choose from, even for vegetarians and gluten frees. We usually make a reso on weekends they're bumping.

A little bit out of the way maybe, but the atmosphere was good, the food was excellent, the service was more than kind. The salads and large entrees were quiet large -- consider splitting them.
