Enjoyed a Sunday evening wedding/dinner here with family and friends. Was kind of surprised that other than the 40 in our party there wasn't many other patrons. Our meal was delicious. The pasta was simple and unpretentious. Steak was cooked to perfection.

The food is very good, try out the pasta for sure. Panacota was the highlight of my dinner and the Old Fashioned cocktail is a true san franciscan example. Not sure why it was so quiet, last time I was there it was happening and packed, Thursday night is not happening. Cool place, cool staff, maybe update decor a little since it's been open for a while now.

Wonderful atmosphere. Delicious food in generous portions. Our waiter was incredibly helpful, friendly, and quick.

Handmade pasta with walnut pesto. Colorful, buttery smooth, and hits you just at the right spot when paired with a glass of good red wine. Start with antipasti, chat up a storm with your friends over wine, and make your way through pasta, main dishes, and dessert - just like in Italy. When the weather is nice out, opt for the beautiful rooftop seating!

The worst service I have ever experienced. I was ignored my entire time there. It took 45 minutes to clear my starter and then I had to wait another 45 minutes for my main, which was cold. They never gave me any cutlery and I had to ask 3 times to get some. All of that might have been understandable if it had been busy, but it wasn't. The food was OK (not great), but they also tried to charge me for food and drinks I never ordered. I will avoid this place like the plague and suggest you do to!

As someone who has been going to Liguria, in Italy for 35 years, This is the most genuine Ligurian food I have ever tasted outside of Italy. The pesto is "basily" because that's exactly what pesto tastes like in Liguria. The Focaccia is spot on also. It may be pricey but you pay for what you get and anyone who criticizes this food has never been to the Ligurian region of Italy. Criticize whatever else you want about the place but you cannot fault the food for it's authenticity. It may not be what you are used to but it's the real deal.

Came here with a small group of friends. They ask for a credit card to make a reservation at Opentable, but they're pretty flexible about changing the group size and time. Since there were a few of us, we were able to try a bunch of different dishes. Service was generally good, but tended to lag towards the end of the night. APPETIZERS The burrata was amazing. Definitely a must have. The calamari was okay -- the batter was well seasoned but I thought there was too much batter. It got kinda heavy and I wanted to save room for all the other delicious things we ordered. Asparagus was great -- the sauce it came with was really good. We also got this fennel salad, I think, that was also good -- very refreshing. PASTAS All of them were really good, and we tried 5-6 different kinds. Memorable ones were the pesto and the ricotta and eggplant dumpling one (forgot the name). My pappardelle with lamb ragu was good, but I thought some of the other pastas were better. The taglierini with dungeness crab was also very good. My least favorite was the carbonara, which I thought was bland and heavy.

Fast service and the food was decent but the portions were incredibly small and way overpriced. The bread tasted like rubber. Go somewhere else.
