The only thing we look forward to in summer (we’re not a fan of the heat) are the myriad of festivals that take place in Canberra and the National Multicultural Festival 2017 is one of them. Celebrating diversity since 1996, through the showcase of food, music, dance, costumes, culture and friendship, Joseph and I have always made it a point to make a visit. +VisitCanberra #travel #food #canberra #visitcanberra #CBR #onegoodthingafteranother

It was a hot sweltering afternoon and we decided to lunch. We ran from the office into the air-conditioning of the car and sped away to No. 10 Restaurant + Bar. It was recommended to us and I roped my colleagues into the idea of checking it out. “They do $15 lunches,” I said. +VisitCanberra #travel #food #VisitCanberra #RestaurantAustralia

Whales! There were scores of them, all around Pelican 1, as far as our eyes could see. They seemed to be simply hanging out and generally having a whale of a time. #whalewatching #bermagui #sapphirecoast +Visit NSW +Sapphire Coast NSW #seeaustralia

It’s that time of the year again when we embark on a whale trail, hoping to catch a glimpse of that colossal creature in Eden on the Sapphire Coast. Just a three-hour drive from Canberra, Eden also known as ‘humpback highway’ is located in the far southern regions of New South Wales, and every year, between September and November, the cobalt waters host thousands of humpbacks heading home to Antarctica. #Canberra #Eden #Sapphirecoast #Canberrascoast #whalewatching #capitalexpress

It’s that time of year when your thoughts turn from winter hibernation to spring sunshine, from slow cooked masterpieces that bubble away on a cold day to alfresco picnics featuring lots of light and crunchy salads. #food #canberra #VisitCanberra #cooking #australianasparagus #aussieasparagus
