This used to be a lovely, elegant Japanese Restaurant with very nice food. Now the walls are plastered with cheap posters, lots of tacky decorations clutter the place and the eating area is oddly divided in an uncomfortable manner. The Chicken Teriyaki tasted like over boiled chick soaked in a bottled sauce. I swear that they served Top Ramen as a side dish. The Tempura was decent. The service was quite nice. I would not go back under any circumstance.

This was the worst sushi I have ever had. We threw out 80% of it . It truly amazes me that buisnesses like this keep on going. I have never had to call a restaurant and make a complaint ever. This was that bad. It doesn't even deserve a single star.

I don't know how good the food is when you eat in, but I ordered food for pickup and it was absolutely dismal. Paid $20 and got incredibly small portions, with the chicken barely cooked and drenched in sauce to cover its lack of flavor. They gave me a small handful of rice and a few measly pieces of shrimp, also barely cooked and drenched in sauce. Will not order from them again.

Great atmosphere and great food. The best Japanese restaurant on the Island! A great and authentic selection, finally people who open a Japanese restaurant who realize that there is much more to Japanese food than sushi. Amazing Udon. I only hope that they start having Taiyaki or Anpan soon! Delicious wines too and the prices beat other so-called Japanese restaurants.

Went there a few times over the last 3 years and it was pretty good back then. I went there about 3 weeks ago and was extremely disappointed ... Sushi sashimi were less than ok, nothing out of the ordinary at all, I mean that one can get better sushi in some supermarkets ... And dessert was bad, I mean really bad, not the stuff they were used to serve in the past .... This was a block of corn syrup. I'll certainly not coming back there and I have to find a new place around here now ... • • •

I purchased a Groupon for Hana because I am always looking for good sushi and I am glad that I did. Everything was fresh and delicious. I even got food to go. It was that good. The service was a bit slow but I did not mind because my food was extremely fresh. This would have been a five star review but I have to subtract a star because Hana is extremely small and I felt cramped. I had a hard time squeezing past other diners on my way to and from my table.
