The food here is pretty good. They have many drink options. Generally it's a good idea to book a reservation here. Good service and comfortable seating as well.

The current "IT" place to have a VC lunch meeting in San Francisco. Nice ambiance and delicious food. Try the Fried Chicken Sandwich. It's huge and delicious.

Delightful cocktails. Tasty bar snacks; don't miss the deviled eggs and cheese plate. Friendly and accommodating service. Handsome space.

Definitely not a daily dinner kind of place for most of us -- if only because of the final bill you get. :) But I had a perfect evening with a perfect dinner here, and for special occasions, this place is definitely among the few at the top of my list. The food is not only delicious but the presentation beautiful as well, elevating a meal to a more artistic experience. If that sounds pretentious, this place is not. I meant it as a compliment on how serious they take their cooking. Service is professional and prompt. Highly recommend.

The kobe beef tartare is one of the best tartares you'll ever have. The ling cod and octopus, and seared scallops were also amazing.

Dinner tonight for 14 from extended family for my son's graduation from UC Berkeley. Very helpful and responsive with reservations. Not easy to find a nice place for large group near city center San Francisco. Excellent service, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Good wine reasonably priced: we got the wine they had "on tap": cabernet franc, barbera blend and sauvignon blanc served in carafes and everyone seemed happy. Classy atmosphere and quiet enough to hold a conversation. My son was impressed and I was pleased. My favorites: beef tartare, cauliflower salad, pork chop and black forest sundae. About $1000 including everything but the tip.

I opted for the grab-and-go fried chicken sandwich for lunch today. I am pleasantly surprised by how big the portion is, and of course, it's delicious. The chicken is the star of the dish (as it should be) with a crunchy crust and tender texture. The sandwich is presented banh-mi style, with pickled veggies inside a soft roll. I'll definitely go back to try their other lunch options.
