Tom and Scott discussed the new Google feed and comparisons to Yahoo, etc...

+Tom Merritt +Scott Johnson Daily Tech News 2012 edition! Remember the Google Desktop era and the customizable web desktop where you could put widgets for calendar, news, etc? With the advent of Backup and Sync, does that mean we're getting Google Desktop Search back?!?!?!!?

You can test your eggs if they're still good, not so sure on drugs but it seems worth a shot... if nothing else, donating properly stored "expired" items to free clinics and such if not just selling them as new or at a discount, maybe as "generic" versions?

My theory: There is only one TARDIS. She exists in all of space and time. Because of her perception filters, which are really just the same tech as the psychic paper, she appears to us and the Doctor as a police box. Because the one TARDIS exists in all space-time, anything that appears to us as a "different" one is just us falling for the perception filter again. We're following the story of one of the poor Time Lords she has kidnapped and used for her own amusement. Time Lords are particularly susceptible to her powers of suggestion, so she can make them believe at any one time whether they need
one pilot or 6, or whether she can be piloted or goes where she wants and due to their stockholm syndrome, they believe that it's the right thing. You have about as much chance damaging her as you do damaging the space between molecules, so if it appears the Daleks have tech to make the doors "as much wood as just wood" it's only because she chose to put those rules in place in this context. You can think of it like programs in the Matrix, for the time being she has chosen to enable that function

She is sick and twisted and keeps putting her prisoners in near-death situations to see how they handle them. Time Lords are particularly good subjects because if they end up screwing up and getting themselves killed, they regenerate like starfish. The one we're following happens to be regenerating as female this time. As fans of following this one particular prisoner, we're going to follow the same familiar pattern of hating the new version of the character for a season (this time female) until either they give up and kill her off early like they did Eccleston, or wait until we are really loving her like we currently are Capaldi and Gomez

I try to avoid political posts, but here's one that affirms my feelings.. I may or may not not agree with you, but I defend to the end your right to say it. That doesn't mean I can't argue with you (sometimes just as devil's advocate), or that I won't block you, or you'll block me for knowing that you're wrong (not thinking, I'm always right ;) ).
