My key lime tree grown from seed is now just over 2 years old. It is 2.5' tall (76cm) and just had a Spring growth spurt. I repotted it 6 months ago into a much larger pot with a citrus soil mix. I added a lot of perlite to it to help minimize the compaction that is typical of that soil type. See all the photos of this tree: https://goo.gl/photos/QRgrQSXPcxguUoPj6

My key lime tree grown from seed after 1.5 years. It is now 1.5' (50cm) tall. Recently I gave it its second pruning. It had stopped taking up water like it used to, and the soil had shrunk quite a bit, so I realized the soil had become quite compact. I pulled it out, gave it some fresh soil & fertilizer at the base, loosened up the rock like root ball a bit and put it back together. Hopefully this will make it happier and trigger some more growth. See all the photos of this tree: https://goo.gl/photos/QRgrQSXPcxguUoPj6

The key lime tree is now 1 year old. The photo on the left shows it before its first pruning and on the right is the after shot. That was all bushy growth from the last 3 months, and I need it to focus on growing up rather than out right now. See all the photos of this tree: https://goo.gl/photos/QRgrQSXPcxguUoPj6
