Need to reserve table if wanna Hv dinner there. Or need to queue for a long time. Rich man Paella is good but a bit salty overall. I tired the 7 Porte white wine which is fruity n easy to drink. Good restaurant overall, but prefer to sit inside as outside is a bit noisy with the car sound

Best restaurant I've been in years! + The food is simply amazing! Top quality seafood, fresh and tasty! Perfectly cooked! + The atmosphere is great! Chic but still comfy! Live piano was a bonus! + The staff is charming, helpful and discrete! Perfect combination! + The price is surprisingly ok! We paid around 60~70 euros per person including starters and wine! + Also have a great wine selection! - Make sure you book in advance! ...now, back to the food, I had the "Graellada de peix de la costa" which is a selection of fish and shellfish for 2 ppl and it's delightful! It was cooked to perfection! Not dry and not chewy! Not to be missed!

Authentic Paella in a very nice Spanish atmosphere. Lots of locals so good sign of good food. Great appetizers and wine. Must go if you want to experience the Spanish food.

TOURIST TRAP. Last time I went to 7 portes was long time ago. My recall as a kid was to have a very good rice in family ambient. I took my wife to lunch and it was an absolute dissapointment. Nothing was too bad, but when you are paying 60eur per person you expect something better (We did not order any extras and just 1 dessert). Service was not hostile but never friendly and welcoming. Both rices were too salty and scarce in fish and seafood. Food was not bad but far from excellent. I'm afraid that the 7 Portes does not live up to the expectations anymore and there are better options in Barcelona for a paella. Everybody visiting Barcelona is very welcome and I just wish they try other places that do not spoil their experience in this wonderful city. Advise from local people: INVEST YOUR MONEY BETTER!

It's not the worst. The paella was way too salty, the calamari was soggy, and the cannelloni was meh and some of the bechamel sauce had solidified by the time I got my food. Ambience and location are great, service is pretty fast. But there are way better places in Barcelona so I would avoid this spot.

Salty as hell I have been to 4 different paella restaurants from Madrid, Seville, Ronda and to here in Barcelona. I was recommended to visit here from my friend studying in this city. I ordered black rice paella and seriously, it was soooooo salty. Mostly with seafood paella, seafood in it is the most salty ingredient. BUT with 7 portes' paella, seafood is the least salty one. I drank 5dl of water just to save my poor tongue from too much of salt. Tl;dr Try other menu or ask them to make it not salty or GO TO OTHER PLACE

To tell the truth, just soso. Sangria cava is good, paella is not as good as those restaurant beside the street. Mainly for tourists.
