ALO participant wins big prize at the 2017 Royal Bathurst show.
Congratulations to Pam Graham, one of ALO’s Social Support participants who won the grand champion prize at Bathurst show for her beautiful handmade clothing for porcelain dolls.
Pam is a member of the Bathurst Doll Club and is a member of the ALO social group which includes the craft group which meets weekly.
Pam is a quiet achiever and is always keeping her hands busy. Over the years Pam has produced some amazing knitted and crocheted pieces that have been given out at ALO’s Christmas parties and special events.
Social Support provides a range of practical and social support services; its aim is to give someone a sense of social belonging.
Social Support is normally provided in a person’s home but may include accompanying them on an outing or trip. The support is provided to them as an individual or in a group and helps them to participate in their community. http://ow.ly/i/uJKyN http://ow.ly/i/uJMDd
