I went last night to meet a friend to my surprise it was a really cool vibe. Great atmosphere to meet new people. The crowd seem to be mature young adults ranging 25-38. Certainly not for children they do card at the door. Nice place to mingle being that I'm new the the neighborhood.....I'll be back

This place loses its long time customers because they think they are a Hollywood establishment. Avoid this place like the plague because of their discrimination! I have been a long time customer of Mad Bulls & The Spitting Chicken Cantina in Sherman Oaks, CA. The same d*****bag that owns Mad Bulls, also owns The Spitting Chicken. Over the past few years my friends and I have spent probably thousands of dollars at these places. I celebrated my birthday last year at The Spitting Chicken. Yesterday was my birthday and one person in my party (who was at the party last year at the same establishment) was denied entrance into The Spitting Chicken for having a "Vans" hat on and tattoos on his arms. I was told this place was a high class establishment with a dress code and "no gangsters" allowed. What a joke. There were no "gangsters" in my party (I don't even know any gangsters) and this establishment is far from high class. It's a restaurant with a tattooed bull as its mascot (ironically) and it's in THE VALLEY, not Hollywood. Get over ourselves. You just lost a long time customer and future business. A few hundred or thousands dollars turned away here and there and soon you'll be out of business. We walked next door to of course be told the same thing at Mad Bulls. The doormen wear earpieces like they are secret service. Mad Bulls is owned by the same amateur business man. That place sucks a fat one too. Spend your money elsewhere. Even before today, once you got in the service sucked D. They will either charge other people's tabs to your card and will not refund, spill drinks on you (happened at my birthday last year to my friend), or will take forever to serve you. They have a knack for hiring incompetent staff. Over the years the service has become slow, the drinks weak and the food hasn't been great lately. Everything at either establishment is going down the drain. All faults aside, I still continued to go to these places. I used to have fun at these places and NEVER-EVER had an issue until yesterday... and it was over discrimination. As you can tell from my profile pictures, I'm not some gangster. I'm just a normal person who used to be a good customer. Never again. To the owner - don't worry, I'll be sure to tell all my friends and yelpers NOT to go to either one of your establishments. Everyone in the valley has tattoos. You guys have lost your damn mind and will lose your business!

Both me and my girlfriend got food poisoning here a few days ago. I'm better but she's still on bed rest for the 4th day in a row. If you wanna wait on your waiter for food that kills you then this is the place for you!

The best sports bar I've been too. I used to go here with my boyfriend for Laker games, and Oh my God it gets wild in there. Drinks are at a good price and the bartenders are very friendly.

Great spot to watch a game and the food is good. Not great, but good. The breakfast I found to have the best dishes. Great spot and atmosphere.

You people are delusional , this place sucks really hard. total homosexual bar (trying to be politically correct). The service sucks and where did you get your bartenders from a frat house, they no nothing of bar-tending or how to. I was also appalled to wait 20 mins for a bottled beer while the place had what 3 other customers. Not to mention the "summer's eve"(douche) vibe you get every time you enter. Not to mention half the clientele doesn't look old enough to be in a bar. My advice as a concerned citizen is to tell you to go to PINEAPPLE HILL. BTW on the 30 across the street blows hard more so........

Love this place. Great sliders! The drinks are big and strong and well made. I love sitting in those huge leather booths and people watching. Interesting menu for a gastro pub---very sophisticated. The martinis rock.
