Yet another reason to NEVER use fingerprints as a replacement for passwords.  This should be a sobering reminder that your fingerprints are not secret.  Moreover, you can't just "change" them when you need to rotate a password.  Reminder:  Fingerprints are Usernames, not Passwords!  http://j.mp/19SI5gv
The Office of Personnel Management said that when hackers, said to have been Chinese, took security dossiers, they also got the fingerprints, a much larger theft than previously disclosed.
