Join AACRAO for a LIVE FREE webinar: Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 2:00-3:00pm ET

This year, AACRAO and the State & Regional Relations Committee will be offering new quarterly webinars for our officers in state and regional organizations. Our first webinar will be presented by AACRAO's general counsel, Jim Goldberg, Principal in the Washington law firm of Goldberg & Associates, PLLC.

His webinar will cover Legal Issues for Associations - Including State & Regional ACRAOs. Understanding legal requirements is important for volunteer leaders of state and regional associations. This session will review the benefits of incorporation, discuss the necessity of remaining current with state corporate reporting requirements as well as IRS tax filing, and offer suggestions for keeping bylaws and other governing documents current. There will be ample time at the end for live Q & A.  http://www.aacrao.org/conferences/conferences-detail-view/legal-issues-for-associations---including-state---regional-acrao-s

You generally do better with a four-year degree, but sometimes a quicker diploma can launch you on the road to success.

A new report by the Brookings Institution rates several thousand two- and four-year colleges on graduates' economic outcomes and college quality factors.
The choice of college is among the most important investment decisions individuals and families make, yet people know little about how institutions of higher learning compare along important dimensions of quality. Drawing on government and private sources, this report analyzes college “value-added,” the difference between actual alumni outcomes (like salaries) and the outcomes one would expect given a student’s characteristics and the type of ins...
