We went to the San Chez Cafe for Breakfast while staying at a downtown hotel. Living in Chicago my standards are pretty high and Sanchez definitely delivered! Table service mimosas with a chilled bottle of champagne and carafe of OJ. Monte Cristo French Toast - Was out of this world, sweet, savory and smokey. Very rich so I recommend sharing with a pal. Cubed French baguette, ham, sausage, bacon, chorizo & smoked cheddar cheese tossed in a cinnamon custard batter. Baked in a cast iron skillet with maple syrup 7.9 Fried Egg-n-Cheese Grits - Were a little runny but had great flavor. Manchego cheese grits, zucchini & wilted spinach topped with a seasoned fried egg* 4.99 Will definitely be back when in the area!

When my husband and I started to talk about catering for our wedding, San Chez already made the short list for the candidates. We've dined at the restaurant several times, and each meal was stellar. But for a wedding, it takes more than just a delicious meal to be a success - there is coordination that takes place behind the scenes, both getting the food to the guests as well as cleanup. On that point, San Chez was hands down one of the best decisions we could have made for our event. Nolyn took care of everything for us - even when I forgot my belt for my suit, he was willing to let me borrow his! The team worked quickly, and our guests raved not only about the food (which we knew was going to be on point), but the service as well. We are so happy that San Chez and Nolyn were there to make our night amazing. Can't recommend them enough for both dinner and their catering services.

We just celebrated our anniversary at San Chez - fantastic! Their blue cheese fritters (FRITOS DE QUESO AZUL) are to die for! Service was top-notch AND we got a free dessert.

I love San Chez. Last time we (2) shared two small plates and the grilled asparagus and were full. The lamb chops were lovely if a bit greasy and came with just a tiny salad, The tender beef, on the other hand, came with a rich tortellini and I highly recommend it. The service was also above par. Best tapas in the state.

My husband and I come here typically for special occasions like our anniversary and it's always an experience that we look forward to! The food is unique and very delicious. It's great for "date night"...not sure the kids are old enough to appreciate this kind of food yet haha
