This market is now my favorite stop in Tucson. The pizza is perfect and the best I have had anywhere. Perfect crust and imaginative combinations. Every sandwich I have ordered has been incredible, so much that I can't pick a favorite. The ruben is better than any NYC ruben I ever had. Coffee is amazing and as good as anywhere in Portland where I moved from. The bread they bake there is fantastic, by far the best bread anyone is baking in Arizona. In fact, everything I try is so good it becomes my favorite. Such nice and helpful people too. I don't usually post reviews, but I read some of the gripes before coming in and had to argue with those idiots. They clearly don't know what good food is because this place is the shit. Keep it up and I'll keep coming!

I bought a serving of tabouli and sat down to enjoy it on the side patio. Unfortunately, I soon discovered that the tabouli had onion in it. I went back to the counter and explained that onion was not listed among the ingredients on the little sign next to the dish of tabouli. The woman behind the counter, who had also served me the tabouli, just stared at me. She didn't thank me for letting her know. She didn't apologize that onion wasn't included in the list of ingredients. She didn't offer me a serving of a different dish that had less onion. She simply stared at me as if I had a problem and she couldn't care less. Other than that, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the store/cafe is a lovely, dog-friendly, bike-friendly place to get a bite to eat.

Terrible experience. We used to order sandwiches and grocery items. The Time Market owners are shunning their community and catering to a few hip young people. They no longer sell deli meats, for instance, but only sandwiches that are too expensive for the neighborhood. Also, in order to stock over-priced wines, the Time Market owners have cut all their other inventory to the bone. If this is "community," then it is a snippy little community and not one that fits this part of town in the least. The answer we received when we asked about deli foods was said in a condescending tone, as if we should just leave. So we did. My husband and I have many happy memories of the way Time Market used to be. Now it is only for the very few (elderly and fixed incomes please note) and at all an asset to this community.

My partner and I visited bright and early one morning and had such a terrible experience that not only will we not go back but we will vocally share our opinion/experiences with anyone who recommends it. Most of the reviews on here reflect similar experiences by other people, so we feel pretty confident that our experience was not an off-day. Overall, the prices are ridiculous, the menu was uninspiring, the coffee bland, and the atmosphere was... putrid. Specific experiences: We spent 10 minutes looking through their market shelves and then decided to order coffee. When we ordered it, the barista just nodded--no verbal communication or eye contact. We payed at the register in the middle, not knowing better, and the employee there smirked and told us afterward that we could have payed the barista. I didn't realize that paying in the "wrong" place would be such a fertile source of amusement for staff. It seriously took almost 15 minutes for her to make a simple drip coffee and a con panna though there was only one other customer. After standing at the bar for 10 minutes she finally told us we could take a seat. The few customers who came through generally stared at us, we felt exposed, the table was sticky and the seats were terribly uncomfortable. The drip coffee was so weak that we ordered a shot of espresso to drop into it for a shot-in-the-dark. This took another 10 minutes to pull and deliver. My e-reader battery was almost dead when we got there, but when I asked if there was anywhere to plug it in the same guy at the register smirked again and said, "Uhh...There are none. That's done on purpose by the owners..." The (female) bathroom looked dirty and unkempt. It was out of paper, smelled terrible, and there was a hole in the wall that could have had someone on the other side looking straight in. We also saw one of the bakers throw away an entire loaf of bread because it was too brown on the bottom instead of slicing it up for sandwiches. It was more than edible (we would have eaten it happily), and most of it was still perfectly fine. This is mind-boggling; the environmental image they are trying to portray is a money-making scheme. Overall, there's no reason for us to go back, and shame on the owners for their hiring policies and their business practices.

Time Market is a longtime favorite of the West University neighborhood and they serve great pizza, great wich's and subs and they also have a nice selection of beer and wine to serve any palate. My family loves having this great place right in our neighborhood. It also has a great energy about itself and the staff are always happy. I firmly believe in supporting local businesses that do a great job. Thanks Time Market you make our neighborhood better and you are well worth the drive, for those not so lucky to walk like I.
