The ISS Orbit Tracker (ISSOT) is an Android Things experiment that keeps track of the International Space Station. It calculates and displays the azimuth and elevation during the ISS orbits. This relatively simple device will give you a visual indication of the location of the Space Station, even if you can't see it.

NeuralCandy combines image classifier and sugar highs in one delicious Android Things project. It uses the TensorFlow Lite inference library for Android to locally classify the captured image against the pre-trained ImageNet model. This model is good at recognizing categories that it was trained with.

Using a single degree of freedom gripper attached to the bottom of a sUAV, and the current state of the art laser and vision for based onboard localization. NASA researchers demonstrate that it is possible to perform individual tasks like pick up and transport objects without an indoors motion capture system. The system actually delivers a boasting accuracies of better than 3 cm in position and 1 in yaw.

The objective of this experiment is to demonstrate how standard hardware platforms like smartphones and flight controllers can be integrated through simple software architecture to build autonomous quadrotors that can navigate indoor environments. This first video shows how the quadrotor can be stabilized and controlled to achieve autonomous flight using an Android device.
