This is a great speech. It got a well-deserved standing ovation. I'm not overly creative myself, but I am someone that is, at times, intensely moved by others' creativity, as I think all humans are wired to be. This speech talks about the source of and the burden of creativity in a very interesting way. As a Christian I believe that all creativity, all beauty, is a reflection of God himself who is the ultimate creator, and she sort of makes that link at the end, albeit in a somewhat mystical way. Definitely worth your time to watch though. 18 minutes long.´╗┐

A person.
Introduction
As for my blog, sometimes I write just because I enjoy writing, even if no one reads it. Sometimes I write because I get that same "I have something to say, and if I put it on the internet, I will have said it!" mentality that a lot of people now days have. Sometimes I write so that 50 years from now, when the entire internet is ingested via a delicious, easy to swallow pill (much like Advil PM), I will be able to look back and remember what my life was like and how incredibly hilarious and insightful I was before the dementia set in.
Bragging rights
I've become much more well-rounded as an adult, but I don't want to be too well-rounded. I want to be able to keep my pointy, lumpy, angularity when it comes to still devoting a disproportionate amount of my heart to Aggie football.
