A cab driver just told me that it's up to the passenger to tell him where to go. There are too many streets for him to know, they only taught him the main streets in taxi school. Hmm, really? #sydneytaxis suck #sydneylife #lifeisforlearning

Completely in awe and continuously inspired by the things my company is making reality. Today marks 7 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy googleversary to me!

Fully autonomous driving has always been the goal of our project, because we think this could improve road safety and help lots of people who can't drive.

We're now developing prototypes of vehicles that have been designed from the ground up to drive themselves—just push a button and they'll take you where you want to go! We'll use these vehicles to test our software and learn what it will really take to bring this technology into the world.

Heading back to Amurica now, someone on my flight is sporting a Saints jersey, we had a who dat moment. Originally stuck with a middle seat for this 15 hour flight but Qantas service came to my rescue. Launched a couple of big deals before take off. Oh yeah, this holiday is off to a great start. #whodat #qantas #oneworld #sapphire #holidaytrousers #saints #huynhing

I'm going to #Accra, Ghana for a volunteer program (May - June) but will have a night in #Johannesburg before the adventures start.  Any recommendations with regard to #hotels and #restaurants in #Joberg ?

While I'm at it, any recos for #Ghana trips?  Never been to #Africa but so pumped!

Here's looking at you +Daniel Pellegrom

Well, if you haven't been already, stop what your doing and go straight to the Hofbrauhaus.  It's everything you think Germany should be.

My other favorite bar is a place called the Jodelwirt, which is by the Neues Rathaus.  It's a tiny, upstairs place, with an old Bavarian guy in lederhosen who guzzles beer, plays the accordian, yodels, and tells dirty jokes in German (and makes fun of the occasional tourist in English).

There's plenty of culture stuff if you have the time...check out the palace, the Frauenkirche if you like old European churches, the Neues Rathaus, and maybe take a history walking tour if you're interested in that sort of stuff.  The Kunsthalle is worth checking out ("Kunst" means "art" in English).  It was built by the Nazis to show off "degenerate art," and now is now one of the premier modern art museums in Germany.  Take that, Hitler!

Augustiner is my favorite German lager, and they have their own brewpub in the city.  Not quite as fancy as the Hofbrauhaus, but the beer is better.

Some great snippets about AdX, my baby, for the past two years at Google.

Loving DoubleClick AdX Video!  In 2012, the number of video-ad buyers and sellers on Google’s ad exchange “grew, on average, more than 200% every month.”
