I've discovered a way to use the bulb syringe to flush the TWSBI 580/Mini nibs. If you cut the back end off of a clean, standard international cartridge the cartridge nipple makes a perfect fit on the nipple in the 580 nib unit. When I'm changing the color of ink too I put the needle of my ink syringe through the feeder tube between the section and the barrel and flush it out that way. It only takes about 5 syringes of clear water to clean the ink from the barrel. Be careful how hard you press the ink syringe's plunger as inky water will squirt out under pressure. A deep sink helps contain it, or just press more slowly.
