This is now Cafe Tranquilo - open from 7a to 2a daily! Better food and better service than ever!

I had heard so many good things about this place and me being a Taco Lover I had to see for myself. I was disappointed from the beginning. Nothing but average through out my experience. I would have been better off going to Americans Taco Shop.

As a Californian coming down to visit family I have to say I was impressed with the food and the service, including the friendliness of the staff. The only thing that threw me off was the decor. It has an underdeveloped look but I still very much enjoyed my time there. Only removing one star for the decor but others may find it more charming. Oh and great mimosas!

Absolutely delicious!! My husband had Posole, I had the Ensalada Cortado, and we shared the most delicious corn on the cob (Callejero) ever!!!! Tea was delicious!! Wonderful service and fantastic atmosphere!!

This place is incredibly good. Order the chiliquilles verde with chicken. Nothing on the planet like it. also, the fresh squeezed OJ is the bomb. highly recommended.

In all my years of travel & countless stops to find amazing food, I've never sat down and had the urge to write a review up until this point. I visited Gallo Blanco after I successfully completed my first block of nursing in the Spring of 2014. A group of 20 some females, myself included from my cohort were greeted kindly, served promptly, and had the kindest staff. I couldn't say kinder things if I tried. After that day, I've visited this spot more than 15 times or so. I've had my family join me, my boyfriend (who also, a very picky eater has agreed this is his favorite place to eat) and I've bragged to all my friends just how amazing the food is. The guacamole is to DIE FOR! You cannot go here and not get that as an appetizer. It's a must! You will be floored at how brilliantly made it is - the taste is incredible. They add a zest of fruit (orange) with other ingredients and it is addicting. I LOVE THIS PLACE. The staff, the atmosphere, the location... there isn't a single negative.

Holy cow, we stayed at the Clarendon by chance. I honestly think Gallo Blanco is the best restaurant I ate in Phoenix. The food was great quality, service was fantastic... they served real maple syrup! Everything! Breakfast by far stood out over the competition around phoenix. Lunch and dinner were also solid, but I know that is where other restaurants start pulling out their tricks in the city.
