Are you closing as many Extended Service Agreements (ESA) as you should or want to?

You have just finished repairing a customers HVAC system and it should be an easy sell to get their signature on a bi-annual HVAC service agreement, yet not everyone will sign on the spot.  Many people will ask to think it over and call your office.

With the help of one of our customers, a Charlotte, NC HVAC customer, we developed an ESA brochure that he believes helps him close over 30% of the folks who want to "think it over".

Leaving a brochure with the ESA contract helps the customer remember who YOU are.  A good brochure will describe your company, what you will do during a semi-annual tuneup visit, and includes references from independent organizations such as the EPA and The North Carolina Alternative Energy Corp that explain what is commonly wrong with HVAC units that are not maintained.

Are you leaving behind more than just an ESA contract?

UV Gloss vs Extended Life Ink - is there a difference? Why should it matter to you?

UV Gloss offers water proofing and limited protection from the sun.
It is not designed for outdoor use in direct sunlight.  Fading will begin to occur in as little as 3 months, especially if the product was printed using water based inks.

Extended Life Ink is a specialty ink that is resistant to fading under harsh conditions outdoors. This ink will withstand harsh sunlight for up to 4 years before beginning to fade. With only partial sun exposure, the life can be well beyond 4 years. This product is especially good for Warning stickers or where direct sun exposure for 10 or more hours per day is likely.

It is possible to use UV Gloss coated vinyl stickers with toner based printing in an outdoor environment if you are likely to be visiting that location at least once a year and able to replace the sticker annually.  If money is tight, you may want to try this before investing in the high priced Extended Life stickers for your HVAC service labels.

We still recommend locating this style of sticker on the side of the unit where direct sunlight will not exceed 5-6 hours per day.
