"Thank you for your service."
"You never, ever heard that in World War II. And the reason is, everybody served,"
Jovano Graves' parents begged him not to join the Army right out of high school in 2003, when U.S. troops were fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I just wish they weren't so ill used. These people deserve more respect (in my opinion). I still remember Mike Ites. He was on 60 minutes years and years ago. He, and his son, went to fight in Iraq. During the interview they asked him WHY he was risking his life ... and he said because they (Iraq) had attacked us on 9/11. I still think about that.

Hillary is quoted as saying "that doesn't change the fact all of the information in the emails was handled appropriately." This is in itself untrue... If the sensitive information were handled appropriately then that info would have been on a State Department server not a private server in her basement.  Had a service member or other government official with a security clearance done this they would have had the clearance revoked, and possibly faced prosecution... Hillary Clinton should not be getting a free pass on this simply because Democrats think she might be able to get elected.

Social Issues  -

Both side in this debate are acting with the maturity level of 3rd graders. My apologies to 3rd graders everywhere who may be offended by the comparison to people that act like this.  Legislation is not going to be the solution to this issue. It doesn't matter if it is this law or any other. What is needed is for each side to show a bit of respect and tolerance to the other side.

Respect is earned not legislated, and you will never earn the respect of someone by demanding they forsake their deeply held religious beliefs to accommodate your wedding.

Religion, faith, and the bible provide valuable guidance in how we live our lives. I believe that we would be in a much better place if we all used our faith as a guide in how we live our lives rather than as a measuring tool into how other people live theirs.

It is time to grow up people... get past the 3rd grade.
Concerns over LGBT discrimination defined new front lines of the culture wars.

+Love Liberty Ah, so the bastion of intelligence and moral principle finally cracks. Let me paraphrase what you've said here:

"Because other people have it worse, your problems are meaningless."

Mkay, then those kids who are kicked out on the streets and forced into criminal, drug-laden lives ain't got problems. There's starving children in Africa who have to trek 10 miles and fight off lions every day just to get a damn bucket of water. Who the hell are these orphans to complain about their issues?

^ This is what you sound like.

Quit trying to guilt people into following the same ideology as you. If you can't support your positions with reasoned arguments, and if you can't respond to the arguments other people pose to you, then the fallacies of your ideas are going to be made apparent for all. This is what the marketplace of ideas is all about: Those ideas which are unreasonable will also become unpopular, and they will visibly be so. Someone like you, who is an alleged defender of first amendment rights, should be familiar with that.

So thanks for your tantrum. I look forward to not hearing from you ever again. ^_^

An elitist bureaucrat that is secretive and manipulative... She brings nothing positive to the table for this country.. If she is anointed the Democrats nominee for President... Lots of people will stay home on election day, or vote for the Republican Candidate.
A newly disclosed letter may raise additional questions about her e-mail use as her presidential campaign gears up.

Tremendous views, good and very friendly staff. Cell phone service and Wifi are intermittent at best. Great location to explore the local area from. For the $ paid i was a bit disappointed. I would stay here again, but likely in a less expensive room.

I lived in Nawlins a number of years & have had gumbo with all sorts of variations. One thing they all had in common was being served over rice. At Bayou that was not the case, also Jalepenos are not typically used in Cajun cooking. The soup was very tasty, but it was not the Gumbo I ordered.
