A Texan myself, there couldn't be a better place to spend time with friends drinking beer and listening to great music. Music ranges from classic country to southern rock to pure banjo and harmonica. If you enter, you will move your body awkwardly to music you don't know how to dance to - and you will like it. Also the beer is like $3.

I'd give it five stars, but everything has its foibles. That said, it's so welcome to find a honky-tonk in New York with live country music. Plenty of patrons are enjoying the place for its "irony" but you can go there with neither cynicism nor hipsterism and still have a good time.

Bar tender dude there is the rudest I've ever had in NY. Asked for 2 beers, changed one. Standing with one person. Place empty. He didn't hear me properly. Poured me three. Said its my problem and wanted me to pay for 3 of them. Doosh bag hipster slime ball. Probably has crabs or some rash disease losers like him get. Haha. Before him my experience was ok.

Go for a beer and to listen to country music. There is also a shuffleboard and a jukebox.
