This isn't particularly surprising to me given that most people here in the US are scared of the metric system let alone electric cars.

Someday I'm going to have to get over my compulsion to remove limes from the insides of Corona bottles.

It's been weird Thursday night for me.

In 23 months my next phone will be dumber than my decision to buy my piece of shit Samsung Galaxy S4.

Amazing food. Who knew that tiny little Laytonville would have the best Asian food I had in a long time. If you got the munchies, and who in Laytonville doesn't, then you need to stop here. You won't be sorry.

Yeah mediocre asian food is a dime a dozen. When it's done well, it ranks right up there with comfort foods.

Story

Up and coming curmudgeon and photo hobbiest.
Introduction
Born and raised in Northern California. I like just about any place west of the Pecos river i.e. the western half of the continental US. Places with high humidity and no mountains I tend to avoid having actually lived in such places.
I have an entry level DSLR camera that I take to its limits and enjoy taking all sorts of pictures with it. Even places with no mountains and high humidity. That said, I tend to take landscape shots in the mountains, vineyards, an occasional home studio shot, and sometimes along the Northern California coast.

Note: I've made this part of my profile visible to the public. The remaining parts as well as my photography is only visible if you are added to my circles. For that to happen you need to have something on your G+ page for me to include you. If you are only looking to recreate your experiences from Facebook, then you might want to go elsewhere. I don't care to hear about last nights party and who did or didn't get sick from drinking too much. Nor do I wish to include you in a circle just for the sake of running up huge totals in your circles list.Leave the Facebook bullshit on Facebook.

Very well done food in good sized portions. A coworker tells me that it's the same gal that owned the restaurant in Willits. A place like this is a rare jewel along this stretch of highway 101. If you're hungry, stop by and settle in because this isn't fast food thankfully.

A diamond in the rough here which is why I rated the decor as Poor -Fair but don't let that fool you. This place is simply awesome. It's a family run business that is a favorite with locals in the know. The food menu is pretty much the usual fast food fair but it is done right. You might have to wait a bit longer for your food than you're used to but it is worth it in the end. My personal favorite is the ortega burger though it wouldn't be a stretch to say that pretty much anything you order is good.

I used to live nearby and would drive by on my way to work. Now I live out of town and really miss this place. Without a doubt they have the best muffins, doughnuts and fresh coffee in town. Even better and much faster than that "other place" across from the courthouse.

Don't know what all the negative reviews are about except that it's possibly connected to the reviewer's bed wetting issues. I wanted fajitas tonight and got them hot and tasty. A large Margarita with that and I was happy. What more could one want?

Brought in my tire with a screw in it and they not only patched it but put it back on for free. I'll get my next set of tires from these guys.

A good place to stay yet maybe a tad bit expensive. The rooms were more than nice as was the bathroom. HDTV in the room was a very nice touch. My only criticism is WiFi was only available in the lobby and not in the rooms.

Just finished with a badly needed update and it now looks very cool and chic inside and out. I also like that they put in the self check out stands as I can be just as fast as the cashiers without having to wait in line. They also installed a Peet's Coffee inside which is a badly needed alternative to Starbucks.
