I disagree with this one :

They Don’t Make the Same Mistakes Over and Over

Because it is sometimes outside out control whether we recognize it or now

Test track for Washington Street?
There's already a bike lane on Washington Street.  Unfortunately it's been taken over by parked cars from either employees of the many restaurants and bars in Five Points, or guests coming to the area for some of the greatest wining and dining experiences S...

Last night's turn-out to the Uptown Planners meeting was amazing.  Thanks to everyone who came out in support!
We had a great turn-out in support of the Bike Project last night at the Uptown Planners meeting.  It was standing room only, with two extra rows of chairs to accommodate everyone.   A few highlights:           It was s...

With more density planned for Uptown San Diego, and a general lack of space for parking now, bike lanes not only mitigate the need for parking spaces, but also increase business for any retailer on a bike corridor.
$$$$$  Studies show that bike lanes not only improve livability for communities, but also increase business for retailers within that community. For one, people who travel by bike are more likely to stop and patronize...

Cool new bike track that lays down like Lego pieces and allows cities to test the impact of bike lanes: http://walkthewash.blogspot.com/2013/11/test-track-for-washington-street.html

I spent some time walking the very crowded area of Five Points this morning, looking for more areas to fit more cars.  I know, I know, F U N !

A few people have suggested that there is no way cars can travel on residential streets at 70 mph.  Well, unfortunately that's not the case.  Here's the data we got when we speed-tested Washington Street in Mission Hills.

So many of my friends support projects like this, but unless they sit on their local BID or Council, they really don't know about it.

Have always had good customer service. Got a great rate on a car loan. Have had an account there 5 years and never had any problems.

Great spot, with nice menu of food and craft beer, but lame line-up-and-order like it's a college cafeteria. When you're paying top price for food and beer, it's best to have proper service.

Janet tested my old kitchen floor for asbestos, and did a great job! I was extremely pleased with their rapid turn-around and professionalism. I would highly recommend them for their testing services.

I am writing to recommend Lori Sherer, who counseled me during a particularly difficult time in my life. I found her by asking friends for a referral; the group she worked with came highly recommended. I ended up seeing her for a little over 1 year. She started by asking questions to evaluate my needs, and as time went on, she started to make recommendations, not in terms of actual advice, but by asking questions and just discussing some of the issues, it helped me think things through. I wouldn’t say my problems were life-threatening, but I did feel an incredible amount of stress and anxiety as a result of some family and work issues, and it made communicating with people at work and in my personal life more challenging. Lori helped me identify several ways to manage the stress, including using a technique called EMDR. When she first described EMDR, I thought it sounded a little far-fetched as this technique is often used on people who have been through a lot of trauma (like war veterans,) and I had not gone through anything as extreme as a war zone. But I agreed to try it, and it worked incredibly well. Over the course of a few weeks, I went from being stressed out and overwhelmed, to being able to talk through a lot of issues with the people creating stress for me. As a result, it helped me solve some of the issues. I have recommended EMDR to a lot of friends as a way to help them ‘re-set’ the way our brains process information. It really is an amazing technique, and I cannot say enough good things about it. I would recommend Lori’s services to anyone who is looking to gain the skills I mentioned, or simply solve some of their problems. She is incredibly patient, non-judgmental, and kind. In addition, she is very pragmatic, and this above all helped me feel like I was making progress because she gave me a lot of practical ideas too. I would say that ultimately Lori helped me to communicate more effectively during stressful times, and to also manage my stress, two great skills I will continue to use through-out my life when it hands me lemons.

Excellent skincare from Suzi, who is San Diego's best aesthetician! Wherever she goes, I go! Highly recommend her 1.5 hour facial: deep cleanse, extraction, mask, aromatherapy, massage and more!

Used RMR to service a vintage stove in my very old home. They were good communicators, on-time, and very professional. Would highly recommend.
