"Chris experienced several defining moments that he classified as “team turning points.” One such turning point occurred during an American mock race when the team had to cancel its last day of the race due to a mechanical issue. Introduction

The University of Michigan Solar Car Team is the largest student project team on campus, involving over one hundred members from all over the University. Twenty years after its founding, the team has built ten custom solar-electric vehicles and won seven National Championships, establishing itself as America’s #1 team.
