Basic Information
Miserable management. We have two units and don't get billing notice, so I have to remember to pay. Everyone else sends a bill, either paper or email, but they just assume that I can remember every month. On 29 OCT I paid for October and then wrote a second check for November. Somehow the second check was only applied to one unit and they put a lock on the second unit because I "hadn't paid". That's their clerical error, not mine. I wrote the checks. Now they want $700 and a fee for the padlock that they put on our unit--the one that I paid for and they screwed up. I'll pay back rent, but damned if I'm going to pay fees for the lock they threw on the storage unit due to their own clerical errors. We'll be moving to another facility this week. Oh, and "corporate policy" I can't write a check to cover the payment lost due to their error, it has to be cash or credit card. Like hell I'm going to drive there with $700 cash in my pocket. I will be filing suite. I hope that ezStorage is going to enjoy the publicity.
