We are so incredibly fortunate to have the Northeastern Reptile Welfare League in our immediate area! We work closely with them at #riverroadvet and are proud to say that they do tremendous work for the neglected, abused, and abandoned reptiles in our area (as well as provide exception educational outreach). On this #givingtuesday consider making a donation to help them cover some of their costs associate with rehabilitating and rehabbing the animals they take in! 💚🐢🐍🐊💚

This poor guy got more than he bargained for while chewing on his favorite bone 🍖 If you give your pet marrow bones as a treat #Riverroadvet recommends giving only the long-cut variety to avoid this relatively common problem! Marrow bones should also be cleaned to avoid pancreatitis and used under supervision to lessen the risk of cracked or broken teeth! #badtothebone

Hi, my name is Oscar, and I'm a neutered, young adult cat looking for a new forever home. I was brought into #riverroadvet as a stray, and I am a very friendly, happy guy who loves attention. I tend to get overstimulated sometimes so I would do best in a home without young children. I am also a dominant cat who would prefer not to live with nosey/pushy dogs or other male cats. I am Feline Leukemia negative and have been dewormed and vaccinated. I must go to a home where I will remain as an indoor cat and not be declawed in the future. My adoption fee is $100.

Check out this kitty's shiny pearly whites! It is estimated that more than 80% of dogs and cats over the age of 3 suffer from periodontal disease. Routine professional dental cleanings can extend your pet's life while making them happier and healthier! ✨😺✨ #riverroadvet #dentalhealth #vetlife #dentallife #dentalcare #pearlywhites

Every Spring at #riverroadvet we see an influx of dogs who have had an unfortunate run in with a porcupine. This owner asked us to save the quills for her to do a "project". Well, this "project" turned out to be these absolutely stunning and unique earrings. What an amazing way to turn a stressful event into a beautiful and creative piece of art! 💛✨ #quillart

Even though Elisa is only with us once a week now, we are so lucky to have her! She's been with us about 8 years and goes above and beyond to help patients and clients alike. We would be lost without her 💜 #nationalvettechweek #riverroadvet #lioncut #vettech

Charlie is a very special cat who was adopted from #riverroadvet several years ago by a phenomenal family. Shortly after his adoption it was discovered that he needed a PU operation to save his life. Dr. Pinello worked closely with the Green Mountain Humane Society and Dr. Kelli way to make sure we were able to get him his lifesaving operation. Three years later and Charlie is as good as new! ❤️🐾❤️
