Best coffee shop at Harvard Square. Spacious [although the tables are usually taken by students and their laptops]. I had a small coffee, but it was more than enough to get me going. The macarons and banana bread are pretty good too. Definitely planning to frequent this store in the future.

Great location - center of Harvard Square, very cool interior with great space to relax and actually drink you coffee/tea/latte. Lattes are excellent - caffeine a little high but I assume the students in the area appreciate that. - Highly recommend.

It's a rainy Boston day and I needed some nourishment and a steaming cafe au lait. Crema cafe has a cozy atmosphere with large work tables long enough to hold students, writers, and families. Just as if you were in a German beer garden you sit together at this place. This cafes' close encounters has European sensibility of being able to connect people with their community while enjoying delicious food and drink. I opt for the quiche, freshly made with ingredients like leeks, caramelized onions, and sometimes sweet potatoes. When I'm in the mood for sweet I like the rosemary and goat cheese sandwich with honey. All and all this is probably my favorite cafe in Harvard Square.

I used Crema Cafe's catering service for a Harvard event I oversaw on 20 November. I was very happy with the service. They provided everything I expected and were very punctual in delivering the food and beverages. I have no complaints at all. Having used other Cambridge-based catering services in the past, I can gladly recommend Crema Cafe over the others

This was a great place to stop in for lunch while in Harvard. Luckily scored a seat - I can imagine that is not always easy as the place was busy and has that coffee hang out vibe - where some people may hunker down for a few hours. I had an ice tea and a sweet potato sandwich that was delicious. The only down side is the salads weren't made to order, but they did seem fresh. A highlight of the trip was when I saw them whip out a huge loaf of ciabatta! Soups seemed popular and looked good. Definitely will think of this place from now on when in Harvard Square.
