Time of the Dove!

[Friday, March 1, 2013]

“It is the season of the dove, says the Spirit, when My presence shall cover the face of the earth. My Spirit is moving in the supernatural, and My people will say across the globe, the sighting of the dove is here, for it’s the sign that His presence is upon us now!”

Prophetic Scripture:

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him; and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:16-17).
We often find through Scripture that when the Spirit of God was resting on something, an actual dove descended. I have noticed so many people reporting that they are seeing doves more often than normal. In fact, one weekend I noticed a pair of doves just outside the back door of our house. Then, just two days later, my husband saw a dove outside his hotel room window in South America. While he was there, a relative of mine told me a story about someone who saw a dove as a miracle was taking place in their life. These are just a few examples of people encountering doves regularly. Now we don’t want to be extreme and start a new “dove sighting” craze. However, I know that when God is doing something miraculous, He will often couple it with certain prophetic signs. I believe that as people everywhere seem to be seeing doves repeatedly, God is just reminding us that the Holy Spirit is manifesting. This is the season of the Holy Spirit, the season of the dove!

Dear Lord, I am so grateful today for the presence of the Holy Spirit who is working mightily in the earth today. I thank You, Holy Spirit, for Your supernatural presence that is working in me personally. Have Your way, Holy Spirit, and manifest upon Your people with signs and wonders in this hour! In Jesus’ Name, amen.

.John Mark and Sandy Pool:
We Have Entered a New Season of Pursuit!
A Season of a Fresh Pursuit of the Father's Heart!
Recently, the Lord responded to my question of how so many things could be going against the will and way of the Lord in our country. Abba Father's answer was short and resounding:
"Do not look at the natural surrounding, but look to Me, pursue Me, I am the 'Beginning and the End.' Tell My people I have brought them into a new season – a season of pursuit for their Father Creator. Everything will now change during your pursuit of Me," the Lord said. Now is the new season of pursuit!
...Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
How Do You Know God Will Bless Your Pursuit of Him?
When God says "I will," He does it! When God says, "Seek Me and I will reward you," He is always true to His Word. He is faithful to perform it, because He alone is Creator God to bring all His creation into a unity relationship with Him. He is not only our Father of Promise, but God is indeed faithful!
Nothing pleases our Father more than having His own children want Him, just because of who He is and their relationship with Him! All God's benefits are awesome, but God's heart, pleased by our faith, trust, and love for Him, is priceless! God provides us a way to come up and be with Him again whenever we feel stuck or unable to be with Him.
God wants us back with Him, not distracted or lost in the daily "rubbish," or mundane natural surroundings, which attempt to keep us away from God's presence. God always wants us in His protective presence. In that pursuit, we find that it becomes an "abiding place" to be under the shadow of our Almighty Father's wings of love. In pursuit of the Father, we learn to trust Him!
Matthew 6:27-29 (NLT) Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.
God, Through the Holy Spirit, Has Answers To Our Every Problem Or Need
When our natural mind tries to address our spiritual or physical setting, it is never the best solution. God, through the Holy Spirit, has answers to our every problem or need. We are made in the image of God, made to take dominion and multiply, and given the greatest Grace gift – Jesus Christ, to be in loving relationship with our Creator Father. As spring time approaches, remember that we, like the flowers that burst forth, did nothing to make that awesome multiplication happen.
God gets all the glory. We allow God's Holy Spirit to refresh us and bring us into a fresh new season. In this preparation season, let us focus again upon the love of the Lord who gave us His supernatural power to reproduce HIS fruit, which will adjust all the surroundings, regardless of the circumstances. Let's bloom where the Father has planted us, because that fruit will remain, showing the beauty of God's great love and grace.
God Is "Yes and Amen!"
Recognizing God's faithfulness to His promises, King Solomon says in his prayer of dedication for the temple: "You have kept what You promised Your servant David my father; You have both spoken with Your mouth and fulfilled it with Your hand..." (2 Chronicles 6:15 NKJV).
Centuries later, the apostle Paul said that all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding "Yes!" And through Christ, our "Amen" (which means "yes and agreed") ascends to God for His glory (see 2 Corinthians 1:20).
Pursuing God's Heart Takes Us Back To Our First Love!
Our Father put us in the middle of all His plans because He wanted us to be with Him for eternity in an ever-increasing love relationship. If our love has less than the pursuit we first had as we came to Him through Jesus, that means it is time to go back to that "first love" kind of desire!
God loves our romance with the King! The Lord reminded me that it is much like a "courtship of true love," and finding and pursuing the romance of the "love of your life"! The Father said to me, "Think back how you acted when you first met Sandy, your wife."
Wow! I threw "reason to the wind" to take love risks, hoping they would not be denied in pursuit of our genuine love relationship. I wanted to do anything that would ensure her that I was at a level of "intense pursuit," not for the physical, but for the eternal genuine love relationship that only the Father could give us!
True love pursuit throws "Reason To the Wind!" I sent dozens of flowers wrote lots of letters and stayed up late on the phone to pursue conversation with what I hoped would be my soon-to-be wife of my life!
After the Lord reminded me of that, I felt conviction for my pursuit of the Lord, the way I did when He first "caught my heart"! Think about that – have we moved away any in our pursuit of our Father Creator and Eternal Love? Obviously, now is the time to run hard after His heart! Now is the time to pursue our Love with Abba Father – our true First Love!
Our Father's Love Is Always "Out Pursuing" Ours!
As we turn fervently back to the Father's heart, our hearts will realize that His love has always out-pursued ours! What a loving Father!
Isaiah 55:6 (NLT) declared this about our Lord years before Christ came to earth: "Seek the Lord while you can find Him. Call on Him now while He is near."
Seek the Father and not "busyness" to keep legalistic, religious rules. As we seek His heart and not just the benefits of "His hand," we will find that the more we know Abba Father, the more we will be deeper in love with Him and His family! We are in a new season of intense pursuit. Pursue Him now, and be assured our Father knows how to adjust the natural settings!
We are now in a new season of pursuit.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night.
Psalm 92:1–2
Start Your Day With Jesus
I want to encourage you to start your day with Jesus. Practice His presence, acknowledge Him, commit your plans to Him and trust Him for His unmerited favor, wisdom and strength for the day.
Remember to be like Joseph in the Bible. The Lord was with Joseph and he was a successful man! Your success does not come as a result of you being updated about the latest virus or you being cued in to the latest disaster. No, your success will come as a result of you being tuned in to the presence of Jesus in your life!
I have also come to realize that the last thought before you go to sleep is very important. I have tried this before and you can try it too: Go to bed thinking about Jesus, giving thanks to Him for the day. Most times, I wake up feeling rejuvenated, energized and refreshed even if I did not sleep for many hours.
Beloved, sandwich your day with the presence of Jesus. Start the day with Him, enjoy Him during the day and end the day with Him on your mind!

.God Can Use Those Whom The World Rejects

1 Corinthians 1:26
26For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.

You may think that you are a nobody, maybe even a has-been or a loser in the eyes of the world. Take heart because God’s Word says that if you are not wise, not mighty or not noble according to the flesh, then you are a prime candidate for Him to call on! And when He begins to use you, you will see His favor, power and increase change your life.

In the eyes of the ancient world, Moses was the rising star of Egypt. The Bible tells us that in the first 40 years of his life, “Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds”. (Acts 7:22) But God could not use him then because he was too smart, strong and full of himself.

It was only 40 years later, after having been in the unglamorous desert of Midian, emptied of himself and thinking that he was a has-been, that God sent him to confound the might of Pharaoh.

The world may pass them by — the weak, the small, the forgotten and the losers, but God chooses them to confound those mighty in the world.

I know this to be true. As a little boy, I grew up facing rejection and ridicule because of my Indian-Chinese racial mix. And as a teenager, I was the butt of many jokes because of my stammering and stuttering.

When I was in my teens, I remember praying to God, “I don’t know what I can do for or give You, but You got me — spirit, soul and body.” I don’t know how many times I prayed that prayer. But I knew that God heard me because He called me. Only God would dare choose me, a stammerer and stutterer, to pastor a church for Him that has since grown to more than 18,000 members today.

I know what I was and where I came from. I know I have done nothing and can do nothing apart from His anointing and grace in my life.

My friend, when you think that you are weak and small compared to others in the world, that is when God can use you to do great and wonderful things for Him!

New Zeal

[Thursday, February 28, 2013]

“Look to the days ahead as I place a new zeal for righteousness upon My people, and there shall be a new and clear dividing line between those who shall walk in the spirit and those who do not. For those who keep My ways, they shall stand out and I will place a visible fire and anointing upon them.”

Prophetic Scripture:

My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words (Psalms 119:139).
We are in a prophetic season where God is stirring the spirit of many of His people to take a greater stand for righteousness. While some are content to go with the flow of the world and accept many of its mind-sets, there is a remnant that is about to shine forth like never before. In fact, the more the world displays the works of unrighteousness, the more God’s remnant will take a stand in this hour. Isaiah 37:31-32 says that the remnant of the Lord will dig its roots deep in the land and bear fruit as a result. All of this will happen because a spirit of zeal is stirred in the Lord as well as in His people. God’s zeal is being stirred up right now and so is the zeal of His people. So whenever darkness and compromise are evident, zeal will only increase. I believe the church is in a time when the evil all around us will only act like a spiritual “fertilizer.” In other words, when evil is raging we will refuse to blend in or become discouraged; we will only get more determined for God! This action among the people of God will automatically draw a line between the righteous and the unrighteous. Never think we are just in a time when things are becoming more gray. No, they will be black and white, because God’s people will define which side they are on.

Dear Lord, I ask that You will stir up the spirit of zeal within me. I pray that You will grant me boldness to stand up for what is right in this hour. I pray this for all Your people. Stir up our zeal, Lord, that we will take a greater stand for You. Let us bear much fruit for righteousness in the land in this hour! Thank You Jesus! Amen.

.Francis Frangipane:
The Lord Whose Sword Is Drawn
Of all the names that the heavenly Father could have given His Son, it is most significant that He chose the name "Jesus," for Jesus is the Greek form of "Joshua." Joshua, you recall, was the Hebrew general who led God's people into war. To be prepared for greater victories, we need a greater revelation of Jesus Christ; we need to see Him as He will be revealed in the last moments of this age: a Holy Warrior, dressed for battle.
Will You Recognize Jesus When He Comes?
Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you for us or for our adversaries?" Joshua 5:13
There is something about the time just prior to a move of God that causes many to wonder if the Lord is for them or against them. He seems confrontational – too intense, too "different" from the One we have learned to trust. Yet during these last few years, this is exactly the situation in the Lord's relationship with the Church. The Lord has stood before us with His sword drawn. He is calling us to follow Him in war.
Perhaps you have been through a time where the tip of Christ's sword seemed aimed straight at your heart. Let me reassure you, God is for you. In fact, it is His expressed purpose to release this same "sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God" (Ephesians 6:17), through your words and prayers. But before the Lord's sword will come through your mouth, it must first pass through your heart.
Do not withdraw or be terrified at this new unveiling of the Son of God, for He is, in fact, fitting you for battle. By the time you are fully trained, you will be a fearless warrior in His army. Yet we must be realistic about our current state: most of us have been pampered and undisciplined. We have not understood the day of warfare that looms before us. Nor are we prepared for the final raging of satan as his time shortens (see Revelation 12:12).
Isaiah tells us that "The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies" (Isaiah 42:13). We have known the Lord as our Savior and our Shepherd. These revelations of our beloved Master are no less true because a new aspect of His nature is revealed. It is simply that this new dimension is so startlingly different from how we have known Him. Be of good cheer, this frightening Warrior King, with His sword drawn, with the shout of war upon His lips, is the same blessed Savior who died on the Cross for our sins.
Yet in truth, we cannot soften the shock of this great unveiling of Christ. Our immediate dismay shall be in no way less dramatic than that which was revealed to Joshua on the plains of Jericho. Our concepts will be shaken and fears confronted.
Looking again at Joshua, truly he had already known the Lord in a wonderful, intimate way in the wilderness tabernacle. But here standing before him was a new revelation of the Lord. The Son of God Himself had come as Captain of the Host to lead His people into war.
Ultimately, these refugees from Egypt and their wilderness children would defeat many nations stronger and more numerous than themselves (see Deuteronomy 9:1). They would do the impossible through the power of the Lord.
Though initially Joshua was taken aback, both Joshua and the people with him were more prepared for this battle than they realized. Their time in the wilderness had conditioned them for war.
Likewise, the wilderness for you has not been a time of punishment but a season of preparation and of learning obedience. You have watched in fear the decline and spiritual death of church leaders who repeatedly disobeyed the Lord. But you have not stumbled over their disobedience; you have learned from it. Today you walk in the fear of God and are not blinded by the sin of presumption.
Before Jesus returns, those who have passed the wilderness tests will receive another revelation: Christ will be revealed to them as Captain of the Host. They will be ready to follow the Lamb wherever He goes.
...And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, "What has my lord to say to his servant?" The captain of the Lord's host said to Joshua, "Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy." And Joshua did so. Joshua 5:14-15
This new unveiling of the Lord is holy. Overnight the Lord brought down atheistic communism in the former Soviet Union. Since then, hundreds of millions of people from many nations have found salvation in the Son of God. God is touching many nations. Let us not gainsay nor criticize what we may not fully understand. We are beginning to perceive the Lord as He truly is and as He will be released in the last days. He is the Lord of Hosts.
The promise of the Lord, which we read earlier, is that He "will go forth like a warrior. ...He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies" (Isaiah 42:13). Within the ranks of the advancing Church, Jesus is raising a war cry. Can you hear His shout in the intercession? There is new authority being raised up, a new generation whose voice thunders with the cry of prophetic prayer. Through the Church, Christ Himself is prevailing against His enemies. Indeed, the gates of Hell shall not stand against the Church Jesus is building (see Matthew 16:18). The hour has come for us "to grow up in all aspects into Him who is [our] head, even Christ" (Ephesians 4:15), the Warrior King!

…His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Psalm 91:4, NLT
Fortify In Times Of Peace
Don’t wait for a crisis to happen before you start meditating on God’s Word. When things are well with you, start storing up the Lord’s promises in your heart. Start fortifying yourself with the unshakable Word of God.
My friend, be wise like Joseph, who stored up grain during the years of plenty and peace, so that the people were well provided for when famine struck. Be wise like King Solomon, who fortified key cities and built supply centers when the land was at rest, and brought peace and prosperity to his people (1 Kings 9:15–19). These are pictures of meditating on and fortifying yourself with God’s promises, your nourishment, armor and protection.
Beloved, God wants you to fill your heart with the good treasure of His Word that will bring forth good things even when times are bad. His Word in your heart will protect and sustain you, light the way and deliver you safely through every storm!

Isaiah 53:4
4Surely He has borne our griefs [sicknesses] and carried our sorrows [pains]…

While waiting for the manifestation of their healing, some people find it hard to believe that Jesus really took their sicknesses and pains, just as He took their sin and shame. If you are one of them, don’t feel condemned. Your Father in heaven understands. That is why He put the word “surely” there when He said, “Surely, My Son has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains.”

Once, my daughter Jessica was crying all night because she was not feeling well. She had been sick for a few days. In my study, I took out my Bible and the Lord led me to Isaiah 53:4 where it says, “Surely He has borne…” Now, I know the original Hebrew here and it says, “Surely He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains.” So I said, “Surely, He has borne Jessica’s sickness…”

But it was like the verse was just not real to me. Her cries seemed more real. Then, all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to a word in the verse that really revolutionized the way I saw the whole passage.

Notice the first word in the verse? It says, “Surely…” Surely, He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains. Now, look at the next verse: “He was wounded for our transgressions...” Every Christian knows and believes that Jesus was wounded for our sins, yet the word “surely” is not put here but in the earlier verse. I think God knew that we would find it hard to believe that Jesus also bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, so He put the word “surely” there to help us believe!

When I saw that, I put my Bible on the floor, stood on it and said, “Father, you know I don’t mean any irreverence, but I am standing on Your Word. Surely, Jesus bore Jessica’s sickness and carried her pain! I don’t care if I can still hear her crying. Surely, Your Son, Your beloved Son, bore her sickness and carried her pain! Hallelujah!” That night, the breakthrough came. That night, little Jessica was healed.

Are you or your loved ones suffering some sickness or pain right now?

Surely our Lord Jesus has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains. And as you believe this truth, surely, your healing and breakthrough will come!

Favor in Business

[Wednesday, February 27, 2013]

“Watch this day, for I will favor you in the sight of the world and I will place a spirit of increase over you, and many people shall suddenly pour resources into your hands so that in all your business dealings you will know that I have placed multiplied provisions over you!”

Prophetic Scripture:

And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people (Exodus 11:3).
Whenever God asks you to do something, He always provides the needed resources for you to accomplish it. When God asked Moses to lead the people out of Egypt, He provided the needed resources. He didn’t send them empty, but sent them fully supplied. However, the unique part was the way in which the Lord supplied for them. Notice He first caused them to receive favor from the Egyptians. Think about the magnitude of what that entailed! Here Moses had been threatening their leader Pharaoh for days, plagues were everywhere, the people were preparing to escape the country, and they still found favor in the sight of the citizens of Egypt! Talk about amazing! In other words, God granted them favor when favor didn’t seem possible.
Do you know that God wants to give you favor in your dealings too? Even when it may seem like the economy is down or there are no openings for you to find a job, God gives supernatural favor when favor seems hard to find! Whatever business, talent, ministry, or call you have been anointed for, your season of increase will come on the wings of God’s favor. Then you will be filled with more than you ever dreamed!

Dear heavenly Father, I activate my faith for unprecedented favor in all my business dealings today. I declare new doors of opportunity and blessing will open unto me. Resources shall come into my hands in the most supernatural ways. I expect favor to follow me everywhere I go today, and I thank You, Lord, for anointing me for favor now. In Jesus’ Name, amen!

Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous judgments.
Psalm 119:164
Develop Godly Habits
It was David’s habit to praise God seven times a day. It was Daniel’s habit since his youth to pray three times a day to God. It was Jesus’ habit to go to the synagogue every Sabbath to read the Word. And it was the early church’s habit to meet together often and break bread.
My friend, whether it’s meditating on the Word, praying or praising God, I encourage you to cultivate such godly habits. Not only are they ways through which you’ll enjoy God’s presence, but they’ll also equip you for every fight of life. They’ll sustain and deliver you in times of trouble.
Just look at Daniel. When a new law forbade him to pray, he didn’t panic or become confused, but as was his custom, continued to pray to God. Later, up close and personal with a bunch of hungry lions, this habit made Daniel so conscious of God’s presence in the den that the lions couldn’t touch him! It made him so steady that the king was moved to haul Daniel up and throw in his enemies to the lions instead.
Beloved, let godly habits deepen your relationship with Jesus—and overcome every challenge with a strong consciousness of His presence and love!
