I haven't been posting much to social media the last couple of years, though I spend way too much time lurking. I thought I'd post this, though.

Greg Stolze's 2nd edition of Reign is almost at the funding point! When it hits funding, he's going to release info on the stretch goals. And I'm involved in the stretch goals. Those who know my gaming obsessions will already guess where this is going, but here's a hint: Ashikaga Yoshimasa.

Here are the awesome gifts I received for Father's Day...

Yesterday I saw a magazine cover that inspired an RPG setting. As I looked through the magazine, the idea formed rather quickly, with a lot of detail. I even had a couple of adventure ideas hit me right away, which almost never happens. Wow, I was inspired!

I got home... and received an email advertising essentially the same RPG.

I must have seen preview material that was teased out of my subconscious by the magazine cover. Given the subject matter, I'd be very surprised if I did not see a preview of the RPG. But I have no memory of it.

So, either my mind is in tune with some pretty excellent developers, or I'm losing my mind. I won't tell you which way I'm leaning...

Part of my Christmas: my first Expack box (of stuff for ex-pats). We will be able to answer the burning questions of whether or not Kraft Dinner tastes different than Kraft Mac and Cheese (I suspect not) and if Cheezies are better than Cheetos (I suspect yes).

Every time I see a "Trump, Pence" sign, I can't help but think it sounds like a small British coin. Like, "I can give you two trumpence for that farthing."

A national sporting goods chain is actually contemplating holding a sale on guns and ammo on Election Day. I wish I was making this up.

I was popped out of Gen X into some nether generation. I first came across the term Gen X in a magazine article in 1985. The definition of Gen X was anyone born after 1960. The article was talking about how the oldest Gen X-ers had just reached 25. Then a few years later "Gen X" was noticed by the mainstream, but they redefined the start date as 1965. I don't belong to any generation now, I guess.

Watched two World Cup of Hockey games today. U.S. was stunned by team Europe and lost 3 - 0. They're going to have to change how they played big time for their game against Canada on Tuesday. Canada was brutal tonight against the Czech Republic.

For my American friends and family, proof that Canadians are capable of being loud and crass.
