Slow progress on painting for me at the moment, but I have completed some Jump-off Points for my Kiwi/Polish platoon for Chain of Command:

Ever wanted to remove a transfer/decal from a model?

I recently bought some vehicles off a bloke who was moving abroad. In general the paint job on them is ok, but one vehicle in particular is marked for a different unit (and to be honest a whole different army) than what I’d like to field it as. Why…

Chain of Command shines as a campaign game, check out the full list here:

I love campaigns, they always give the action on table in a wargame more drama and context. Chain of Command is no exception to this, thanks largely to the excellent campaign supplement At the Sharp End. If you haven’t got a copy of that go grab one now.…

Kampfgruppe von Luck Game 4: The Church on the Flank. Spoiler: the church dies!

Major von Luck smiled as he poured over the map.  His men had driven a deep wedge into the bridgehead established by the British paratroopers. After a brief hold up when the impressive firepower of the Royal Navy bombarded his panzergrenadiers the attack…

Terrain binge continues. Today, a rural house in 28mm:

Continuing my recent terrain binge, I’ve been sprucing up a house that I’ve actually used in a few games already. It’s a two-storey kit from Charlie Foxtrot Models, that works nicely as a rural house:

Good cheap scatter terrain:

Scatter terrain is one of those little things that I think we’re all guilty of neglecting at times. But I think a table with those little bits of “lived in” detail is just so much more appealing. The great thing about these little terrain pieces is…
