So I got my +Galaxy Nexus car dock with pogo pins so I could charge and get an audio line output without any extra connections.  After a tiny bit of grinding on the holder, it holds my LTE phone fine, but the car dock simply has no bass output!  It sounds like there's about a 200Hz 1st order high-pass filter at the output.

I figured that was likely caused by some undersized decoupling capacitors, so I figured I would open the thing up, find them, and replace them.  So far, I haven't found any audio decoupling caps, so it doesn't look like the fix will be quite that simple.  Next step:  check IC models if at all possible so that I can learn more about how the circuit works and identify what else I might be able to do.

Anyone else find a solution to this?  I'm considering drilling a hole in the bottom of the thing so that I can use a line output and putting kapton tape over the center pogo, but that kinda defeats the purpose of the dock...
